Want to know the ironic thing?
I did something to my back on either Thursday or Friday...two days I did not work (or lift, of course) because I had my graduation ceremony (finally, finished in August) and my parents/sister were in town.
Hopefully my back is a little better when I wake up tomorrow, instead of a little worse, or I'm going to be fukked working on a bum back all damn day

Isn't it funny how you can squat or dl hundreds of pounds and feel like a badass. But bending over to grab a shoe or turning to look at something can **** up your back?
A month or so ago I did it just standing over my smoker putting rub on ribs. Week before that I seriously sprained my ankle by missing a step (really serious ankle sprain).

lmagine this. You are attracted to women, Iike you are now (emotionally and sexually), but they do not exist. They existed a long time ago, and no one knows what they looked like (They have a pretty good idea from the fossils, however), but they do not exist anymore. That means, not only do you know there will never be any possibility of you having sex with one, but there's not even a possibility of you ever seeing one in real life. Everyone else, however, except for a very few, are not attracted to women, they are attracted to something else entirely. So in other words, you will never find any porn anywhere on the internet, only non-sexual pictures of women. Everyone you have told about your attraction to women think it's disgusting. To relieve yourself, you get off on the non-sexual pictures of women, knowing it will never get any better.
That's what life is like to me.
I am a degree 6 Zoosexual, sexually and emotionally attracted to Tyrannosaurs and nothing else. Women don't even do it for me. I am cursed to live my life in the misery that my most powerful emotional fantasies will never be even close to coming true. Life is like hell to me. I will never know true love.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240

So guess what, bros and bras... Hitting that PR fukked my immune system and I spent all day at work in the guard shack yesterday with a fever and chills. Had the heat cranked up to 89*F (max) and was wearing a tank top, thermal long sleeve shirt, collared short sleeve button up shirt, zip up hoodie, and my security windbreaker and I was still cold! Finally broke the fever halfway through the shift and spent the rest of it sweating my soul out. Feel better today but quite dehydrated... Time to gatorade.
Thanks, my good man.
Thanks, Scrooge/Grinch.
Wut? The 3rd one looked awful and was quite difficult!
Haha thanks, Farley. Get back in the gym, pls.
Thanks. Do you even lift?Planted like a tree beside the river of truth.

I'm not surprised. This is why sometimes bodybuilding > powerlifting. I looked back at my old log and found that I was hitting the gym quite regularly when I was not training for strength (1RM obsession). So for the time being, I'm saying 'f*ck you' to strength training.

It's not an excuse... 1 day of sickness is worth a squat PR. There has not been 1 time in the last 3 years where I have been sick without my back being sore from a previous workout (I've been sick probably 5-6 times in last 3 years with sickness lasting no longer than 3 days, usually only 1 day).
But Lu, as long as you're in the gym, my heart is warmed.Planted like a tree beside the river of truth.

If I knew I was going to get sick, I wouldn't hit the gym that hard. That's just me, though.
But Lu, as long as you're in the gym, my heart is warmed.

I once had to go to the ER in '09 after bending over to pick up a penny. I didn't know about my scoliosis until '10. I see a chiropractor at least once a month to keep my curve in check. It's not serious enough to warrant a brace, but enough that it can cause me pain if the curve locks up on me.
I can still deadlift 300+ with little issues even with scoliosis. I wear a belt if I go heavy. I don't use a belt unless I'm pulling over 225.
