Every person is going to be a little bit different...experiment with different diets and tweak them to help you get the best results. I find that I lose the most fat and keep the most muscle when I'm getting a bunch of protein. On a cut right now I'll try and get to around 200 grams of protein and then the rest is a balance of fat/carbs.
