    Pepsi Next?

So, do you have any interest in Pepsi Next?

I've conditioned myself to not drink empty calories. There's no appeal here. I think I'll stick to my zero calorie sodas. Who wants artificial sweeteners AND empty calories?

Just eat less? Who knew it was so easy to NOT be fat?

just drink it if you fit it in your calorie intake, its only like 60 calories a can. I have two tbsp of coffee creamer every day, same thing just pure sugar but fits into calorie intake. Dont drink so much that you go hungry and waste calories though.

Nope, it's water for me, all day, everyday, and I couldn't be happier. It's to the point where I love water, so why touch pop/soda? Of course, that's just me. I cut the stuff out of my diet a long time ago (well, probably almost a year now maybe). I have the occasional sparkling cider on holidays, but that's it.

We have Galliker's Dairy Diet Iced Tea around here. Like the Turkey Hill stuff.... But is the Turkey Hill tea sort of opaque? I've brewed a lot of tea, and never once was it so thick you couldn't see through it like Galliker's.

I tried pepsi next not to long ago. It's actually pretty good. I didn't notice a great difference in taste between that and a regular can of pepsi (not that I did a taste test).

I said that because Pepsi Next isn't zero calories. It's 60 per serving. So, it's not going to appeal to cutters and not going to appeal to the people that like the 'full taste' Pepsi... Unless somehow it has no diet taste at all.

It taste like a Pepsi that's half regular half diet. I like it, but then again I don't really have a problem with regular diet soda either.

It's a middle ground, perhaps slightly closer towards a regular Pepsi in taste.

what exactly is empty about the calories. Sugar does not constitute an empty calorie since it is a carb.

no micronutrients, no satiety, which is the definition of an empty calorie. Donuts, cake, cookies, all garbage empty calories (but taste good).

^^^^ That's how wikipedia puts an "empty calorie".

Something that has little to no nutritional value, and isn't filling. Empty calorie foods often stimulate the appetite rather that satiate - - think candy or chips.

My favorite empty calories are ice cream. Why do I think this thread is about to turn into a "my favorite empty calories" thread?

Ice cream takes up about 1/4 of my calorie intake, making all kindssss of gains
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?
