How do you fix a damaged metabolism? Unfortunately through my inexperience and hunger for fat loss I believe my metabolism has been damaged. What steps do I need to take to fix this?

I think Lyle has talked about carbs up regulating thyroid/metabolism. Try eating at x calories with high carbs, low fat (50g or less, I think he recommends for refeeds). At the same time, I also think I've read he thinks severe metabolic slowdown is untrue. I'll try to find his article.

Just curious what exactly you did to think you damaged your metabolism? Please be specific, as in XXXX cal/day for how long, etc...

Are you fat because you're lazy or are you lazy because you're fat?
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
