what are your thoughts about deadlifts on back day?

my pt wont stop bugging me about it
he keeps telling me that i should stop and add it to my legs day since I train every muscle group every day.

I think if your paying him to train you you should trust him and listen to what he wants you to do. That's his job.

If you think you know more don't waste your money.

I'd keep it on back day as for me it had a negative effect on my squat.

If you need to do deads on your leg day - do stiff leg deads.

Why don't you just deadlift after squats? It saves you warming up so much.

Because I prefer to keep them seperate as both are very taxing exercises.

Have you told your PT this? If so and he is not listening to his client...then fire him.

i actually agree with you and thats the way I always preferred it. some people feel differently. either way can work, try both, do which one is best for you. there is not a "right" and "wrong" way.
