    Fava beans: good post-workout?

Would fava beans, mixed with a couple eggs and some uncooked olive oill, be a good post-workout meal? (Taking a shake too)

They don't seem to be a good choice at any other time, because they have a GI value of 79!
    Per 100g they have:
    Protein: 7.60
    Carbs: 19.65
    Fat: 0.40
    Sodium: 5

How about liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti?

It wouldn’t be good for post workout IMO. Maybe the meal after that.
It's better to be cynical than naive.
