Thoughts
Happy with the 160kg x 9... now this gives a calculated 1RM of around 210kg.. I feel that I should be able to pull at least 200kg but I think it is a mental block for me, I think I get to the bar with 4pps on and if it's anything more I get a bit of a anxiety building up. Maybe I need a belt for peace of mind I dunno... I know I need to get over the mental block and get psyched up for a heavier pull. I know it's in me... just gotta do it

You can dooooo it.
Grab a harbinger or valeo Velcro belt.
It'll allow you to still get in a nice pulling position and feel some security.
You got a strong core, so you could easily activate those bad boys of yours and rip 4 plates off the ground.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Agreeing with everyone else. 4 plates will be no problem for you. The first time I did it I was scared too.. all you need is a good pump up song and a belt for psychological security purposes and you will pull it EZ

Hah bro's you have missed the point! I have long been a member of the 4pps club, my best has been 3 reps strapped and 2 reps raw. What I was getting at is it seems whenever I had MORE weight to 4pps it gets a bit mental and always seems to phase me out. Happened the over week with 190kg I got a bit of mental block even though I probably could do it easy enough. I think I just need to get really fired up...

I thought for sure you got 4 plates already haha! Well, my advice still stands. Good pump up music and a belt. Get pissed off.. and kill that weight! I always think of things that make me mad as I am about to deadlift and take my anger on out on it. Thats just how I do it. If Dolly Parton is what gets you pumped up.. well.. go for it lol

Can you guys comment on my bench form. Its 200lbs and ive been stuck on it for the last 3 weeks where i was usually adding 5lbs a week. Am I doing anything wrong?
Cheers for letting me hijack Dan.

Danny --- those 160kg reps looked easy for you! I thought you had enough to get the 10th rep, but WTF --- I've said all along you've got that 200kg in you, and once you get it off the ground, you've probably got 2 or 3 reps. I know all about the mental fukup that happens with deads but you have plenty enough strength. As for a belt --- you want to get used to lifting with it and not just try it on for the 200kg attempt --- I tried lifting with my belt on the other day. I got my muffin top spread all over the place and it felt awful
Great session Danny"Better to wear out than rust out!"

Too add to what I said in the message, maybe look into dropping the weight by 5-10kg after your working sets and go all out for a couple of AMRAP sets. Should help.
Hah thanks brother!
It felt pretty easy to be honest and I think you're right a belt would need bedding in and getting used to, it's not something I have ever used really. I also agree once the bar is off the ground I will then probably be able to do reps. I might do some semi rack pulls with heavy weight but just stand and hold it just to get a feel for it. This cycle though I am only attempting 185kg on 1+ will be popping my 4pps + cherry :P
LOL at muffin top spread all over
We will see bro"Ain't nothing to it but to do it"

Stellar back session mate!
Strong repout on the deads and excellent volume afterwards. Love the lineup of exercises

Hah thanks mate, the videos are a little project / hobby of mine.
I had my bench day yesterday after Deads and if you remember you asked a bout my split I was unsure whether I would rest or repeat... Couldn't bring my usual chest volume! I think I may actually do half assistance on Bench 1 and the other half of Bench 2. Might make sense."Ain't nothing to it but to do it"
