Question about carb's

Ok, so i have been reading and i have found many articals say to take in like 70% of your carbs at breakfast and after you work out. Well seeing as i workout at night and i get back to the house around 9 would that be ok to eat carbs even if i don't go to sleep until later like around 11ish? I mean is that deffeating the purpose of trying to burn fat? I am just a lil confused on that. Do i need to try and move my workouts earlyer or what? Well any type od advice will be great thanks.
