I mean, you should already be working hard, already be sweating, it's summer here, and you're wearing a hoodie? Come on bro.
Legit question, is there like a reason people do that (other than to maybe look bigger)? Cause I see at least a good 5-10 people EVERY single day wear it. See people with JUST hoodies every day, different colour ones, that's their gym clothes..
Like if you think you 'look bigger', when you start curling that 30 pound barbell, everyone's going to know..
Am I missing something? Is there actually a reason to do it, or just *******s?

Yeah, I can understand occasionally wearing it to make sense, but people wear it every single day, and do the same routine, and there's literally no reason for it..that I know of. I think most people just want to look bigger. I was just trying to figure out a reason, so maybe it can be beneficial for me. lol

To warm up quicker
Stay warm
Sweat more
I wear them in the winter all the time but during the day in the summer would be quite uncomfortable

could be lots of reasons
Serious bodybuilders may do it to remain completely focused, like Kai ( i think thats why he does it i could be wrong)
Complete newbies do it because they're not comfortable with how they look and are fat
Many guys do it to lose a lil extra water weight, just to feel that they left no stone unturned in their training
Douches just do it to look bigger" The pain you feel today will be the strength you feel tomorrow."

Ringworm and touching my head on the benches with someone lice, sweat, and hair gel. Gotta cover them arms/head man. It also helps to warm up if the gym keeps it cooler.

I wear one during my cardio sessions. Other than that it's a Y tank when I train. Don't be mad my friend, what other people wear at the gym shouldn't be of your concern lol. You need to be focused on your damn self.

I wear a solid blue sweater when lifting.
I find that while cutting it makes it easier for me not to focus on how skinny I've become and what others might think of me, and it helps me stay more focused because I don't have to prove **** to anyone. They can imagine I'm a pencilneck nerd or a jacked mofo under that sweater, takes away any pressure you have of others checking you out.

Nah, it was a serious questions. Not trying to troll people who wear it or anything, actually wanted to know if it could benefit me. Like, I think if there's a solid 5-10 people wearing it each time, at least one of them must have had a reason, been wondering. Might actually wear it during my cuts now too, makes sense.

i wear hoodie in the gym because i feel comfortable and i dont like to be seen, plus if you have a gym where they got the air on, you cant get hot, by they i mean i like to feel hot and sweat when i work out, makes me feel like i'm doing something

Feels good not to get squat bar chafing due to hood bras.
Also, once you get to a certain level of maturity, you're no longer lifting to show off. You're lifting for yourself and you don't want to be bothered. At my gym, many of the biggest dudes rock the hoodie / earphones and want to be left alone.

Only dudes I ever see wearing hoodies at the gym are jacked as fu*k.
No need for sleeveless tees anymore when you have 21" arms!
