I just did the calculations for female who is 5'4 and 112lbs, with 22% bodyfat and 46 years old...exercises 3-5 times a week and moderately active.
katch mcardle came out to 2258.92?!?! BMR
the miffin st jeor measure came out to 1137.6 BMR
harris came out to 1228.54 BMR
when i simplydid it based on her weight the range was 1568-1792
Why are the numbers so far apart? Especially the katch mcardle, that can't be right.

i was just going to ask if you converted it to kg but worse case scenario use this calculator to determine everything if you have it. it lets you choose with formula you would want to use http://www.1percentedge.com/ifcalc/

I used miffin, my calculations gave me a TEE of 1706.4 and the website gave me 1763 (i went w/ website)
For protein I got
1.25g x 87.67 = 110g of protein
For fat i got
.70 x 112.4 = 79g fat
left over for carbs
1763 - 1151 = 612/4 = 153g of carbs
Does that look correct. My main confusion is the sticky is giving us [between 0.40 - 1g total weight/ pounds] to choose from for fat. What are the +/- of the high low for fat?
Also, this lady is looking to stay at the same weight but reduce body fat, tone up. Even if she keeps her calories at maintenance by adjusting her macro's should that make a change without reducing calories? Currently i'm sure her carbs are way over the 153g

Looks about right! My wife weighs exactly the same and is just a few years older and that is almost identical to hers. (she's shorter)
Yea I would go with those macros, they look fine and she should do well. Her weight may fluctuate, if she adds some lean mass she may go up a bit, just be sure to encourage her to use her clothes and the mirror and not just her scales. You likely already know that, good luck and let us know how it works out!!

If she's going to lose fat, she's going to lose weight period. If she wants to lose fat, and build muscle, she can try to recomp, but honestly at such a low weight there's really no point. She doesn't have much fat to lose.
Maintenance eating at this point would just be wheel spinning. If she doesn't have visual muscle and a "toned" physique at 112 pounds, it's time to gain muscle. If she's trying to "get toned," she needs to be lifting heavy in the gym and eating above maintenance.
