greater impact, heartpierce, heart seeker. just started going health/evasion though...

i finally picked up some health passives at level 30, but even now i don't get hit much on my ranger. all i do is spam ice shot too with fork (waiting on lesser projectile to drop). ice shot spam + lots of crit passives + 15%+ speed boots = not getting touched. the game is still not very difficult at all. i die more to DC's than mobs. find a way to keep the mobs away from you, a lot of mobs aren't that fast (except for those damn snake things) so you can kite them pretty easily. going strictly for evasion seems like a waste since you get a ton of that from dexterity passives anyways. health is always good though

You spend a massive number of points to get to the very average clutch down below. If you want to reach for damage, go for the cheaper Adder's Touch instead. The poison from this does 10% of your critical damage (all damage, physical and elemental) per second for 2 seconds. (This route also unlocks Shield Block, if you ever decide to go that way.) Also: you have a 6-18-6 damage set you could take instead right out the gate. You can choose to not take one of the +6% ones, but there's no reason not to get the 18% Reparte.

Since daggers' schtick is high critical chance, I would take the stuff in the Assassination set. On that note, you can think about taking Shock for its 5% chance to inflict shock.

Nullification is two points here. Take it.

There's a basic strength node you don't need to take above your start spot.

Level 20 Lightning Strike will require 170 strength. You can probably get what you need from gear if you get to pick and choose (the +str amulet and belt come to mind), just keep it in mind that you'll need it at high levels, or will have to content with a submax Strike.

Don't be afraid of taking the +movement speed things to get to where you want to go; don't you liek being zoomy?

Think about pulling back on all the Mana stuff, and using the savings on filling out crit chance, resist and life nodes you've unlocked.

FYI for everyone in general, the block nodes in the center area are universal: +2 block if dual wielding or using a shield. They're adjacent to the Crit Chance and Attack Speed there.

I do not, just the two abilities I listed. At level 31 Lightning Arrow has a *** of 125 and Split Arrow of 131 for me. Its funny cause my regular attack has a *** of 152 lol. Need more of those + elemental damage nodes.

This is what I'ma going for on my current guy. I'm an incredibly lazy man. I wanna zoom to where I wanna go as fast as possible, and push as few potion buttons as necessary to get there.

I think it's going to be some decades before I can fill out the +life, resist, the core Archery zone, get the two 30% reflexes nodes AND venture out deeper into the middle for that resist, regen, life and Iron Grip crap. And the 20 extra points to get into that sweet marauder brick area. Still, I have to live in hope of massive power creep.

What current spells are you running?

I'm 4ever stuck in Act 3 Normal, so it's poverty land. I use split arrow to attack a few guys, Arrow Rain for gigantic piles of ranged mobs or melee wimps I can draw into one spot, and the Burning Arrow for single target.

It always bums me out at around level 32. You've just got the pretty decent Royal Bow type two levels ago, and now the next upgrade is a slowbro bow that usually ends up dealing less d.p.s.

A silly thing about the offense backbone here, is the only thing keeping me in Bows is the attack speed stuff. I could pull it out and throw out Fireballs with my fists going "haha! +85% damage to fireball, bitches!" Slightly weaker than what the Witch zone can get without having to spend 10 million points going everywhere... but on the ups it doesn't care about element type at all. And could get +19% spell damage doing a reach around at the Shadow area.

Edit: Oh, I do plan on using a Ranged Totem eventually whenever I get one. In the beta, I had two types to use as needed, one with Split Arrow and another with [s]Lacerate[/s] Puncture. As I said: lazy. And poverty.
