Day 1 of the official offseason/growth phase leading into my show. Not the last however many months weren't serious, but it was a combination of growing, powerlifting, leaning out for summer, and now being 100% with my physique and wanting to lean bulk.
I'm eating 7 meals a day.
Each meal being roughly 30-40 protein, 40-50 carbs, and 10ish fat.
I will have a nice cheat and or extra food a few times a week when I feel energy is low or I am simply just that hungry.
Today was chest/biceps.
I am trying to be a little smarter with my training by not starting off too high with the weights and volume to the point I have no where to progress.
I hit 3 sets of 8 on 245 for incline, with a drop set to 135 on the 3rd set.
Also hit 2 plates per side on the incline hammer strength, static hold style.
I will have to do youtube video of this sometime, however, I do the first 5 reps both arms together, then one side static hold, 5 reps with the other side, then switch, and I do this twice. Each side ends up getting 15 reps total. I will aim to progress in time with this as well.
50's for a few set of incline flyes, and then fst 7 cable flyes.
Biceps was:
fst 7 spider curls,
db curls
and fst7 rope hammer curls
Tomorrow is delts and triceps. Going to keep focusing on barbell military press seated, and some other movements. Close grip bench I am sure will be a staple for triceps

5 days a week, an hour or so per lift. Zero cardio. I did a few cardio sessions a week for a couple weeks leading in this photoshoot I did, just was trying to lean out some. But mainly just been having really good diet. I've definitely never been this lean above 200 before, sitting at 206 now, hoping to get to 220 before November/Decemeber when I diet for the Arnold

I do do a lot of volume you are right! FST7 is brutal, but fun and I think I get a lot out of it!

I'm starting down low gain, doing 4x4s. I did 475 last week, gonna go for 485-490 for a 4x4 this week and keep going from there. Last week was easy and really focused on keeping my form spot on and not just ripping the weights.
