Went to college for a while in Charlotte, grew a ton of weed and made lots of money too which is why I left when they started busting houses >.<
NoDa stands for North Davidson. It's the area where you can go to the Arts district, the Gallery Crawl, Amelie's french bakery open 24 hours for your studying and late night drunken needs, as well as some tasty affordable restaraunts like Cabo's Fish Taco and Crepes Crepes Crepes.
D&D is Dungeons and Dragons, huge crowd of nerds at UNCC meet every friday night up in University and play games for a cheap way to have lots of fun while staying out of trouble.
I've gotta fly back for a week sometime.

finally got my offer today 17.50 an hr to start. she’s emailing me two things I need to print later today but the email won’t arrive until like 4. Then I have 48 hrs to go take the drug test and they’ll fax the results. My start date s listed as september 12th, but if the background check and everything comes in sooner, then I can start 8/15. After 6 months, my buddies dad who got me in wants to recruit me to his dept for 20 dollars an hour, and get me certified to be an engineer in the company. Woop WoopDon't stop hustlin'

First day at the New Y in the new homeland. I need to figure out a method for OHP now, because they don't have any Racks,. and the 1 smith they have isn't high enough. I'm not sure how the best way to do OHP is going to be. Today I did it from a bench, got under it, and then stood up, and It really caused my rep count to falter on the heavier sets. Any Ideas boys?Don't stop hustlin'

Learn how to power clean. You should always be able to power clean what you can OHP. The ability to get the weight off the floor is what really defines a true weightlifter. Racks are for pussies.

Learning how to properly power clean is a technique endeavor in itself that's fairly useless for anyone not planning to Oly lift. You could argue for it from an athletic perspective, but even for that you have less technical lifts to achieve the same results. When you're running 5/3/1 for powerlifting or just general strength, power cleans can easily be replaced unless you just have the desire to do power cleans.
While you can probably work up to cleaning the weight you OHP, I'd be more worried about the lack of a rack if you're planning to do squats. Inb4 you should be able to snatch what you can back squat...Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883

This is my main concern too. I'm going to have to Smith squat for a couple of months probably. Dave wants to buy a rack and stuff for his garage which I'm all for. I may start smith squatting and Leg pressing on the sled again for more direct quad work so I don't fall behind. Thoughts?

It's better than doing no workouts, but you should get access to some sort of rack as soon as possible if you don't want your squat to suffer. Check Craigslist or Play It Again Sports and similar stores for cheaper used equipment. Ideally, you'd find a gym with a power rack at least, but sometimes options are limited. You could even build your own rack out of wood or something, there are DIY plans for sh!t like that.
If there really won't be any rack access for a while, maybe learning how to clean is actually a really good idea for you. That way you can clean the weight and front squat it a few times.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883
