Nice work bro and way to kill that OHP.
Don't listen to J in regards to the plus set for deadlifts. He'll be in a wheel chair while you're still pulling bigger weight than him

haha Gee thanks Kruat. Yeah I'm happy its over too. Another few weeks of cutting, maybe until June 1st, and then I'll start eating at recomp like you explained to me. Slightly above maintenence on working days, and slightly below on non training days..right? What would be the % of increase/decrease you'd guess at for cals. I'm sure I can just look it up after but figured you may know.
Haha nah, but I've read some of the stuff hes said about the routine in general.
And now you're squatting like a beast. Bet that feels niceDon't stop hustlin'

Nah I think that would be fine. This standard recomp allows you to gain muscle and size with minimal fat gains right? I'm assuming so because eating ~20% under maintenance on off days is basically a cut, combined with 20% over on training days, except with the extra cals burnt from training days its not really 20% more total, but still adding more long term week to week to allow minimal, slow muscle growth. Last time I ate like a monster everyday for months, and yeah I gained a ton of muscle, but I gained sizeable amount of fat too. It was my first time ever eating and training as hard as I was, and was shocked by my gains.

Yeah I think it'd suit me nice. Most days I really just want an extra meal sometime during the day, or a few small snacks, so the +20% working days would make my life wonderful. I'm good at cutting them out and being strict, I just hate it. I did go out for a few cap'n and diet cokes with the boys though, because its been weeks since I did.

Yeah, I don't care enough to do stuff like avoiding drinking with friends. I don't do it every week, but whenever it comes up it's not something I try to work around anymore. I also have a beer or two whenever I feel like it pretty much. I'll leave the neurotic dieting to women, bodybuilders, fitness models and people that hate themselves. I've done it in the past and it was terrible for my mood, added stress to my life, etc. I eat healthy food 80% of the time and count calories, I just don't feel bad for overeating or f'ucking up my diet completely for a day or two sometimes. It has to be said that my main goal is not physique related though. My main goal is to be healthy and as strong as possible along with that.

Strong day for me. Annoyed with today because my grandpa got brought to the ER today. About 2 months ago we put him in a convalescent home because he has severe dementia, and my grandmother is too old to watch out for him, and my mom cant juggle it all the time with her own life and work. Needless to say it's been hell since hes been there, because those homes suck. Over medication, improper care etc. A few weeks ago my grandpa hit someone with a cane who was taking things from his room, and it caused a big raucous. Today, apparently someone pushed him, and he fell, cracked his head open, gashed his hand very deep, and bit down through his tongue. My mom spends like 2 hours a day at the home with him visiting, and checking in on him. I haven't gone since hes been there simply because he doesn't really remember me anymore and it bothers me. (I spent some time living with my g-rents, so it bothers me he cant remember me anymore). Fortunately, my grandpa is a WWII Vet, survived multiple heart attacks, bypass surgeries etc, and is a general badass. He's got multiple staples in his head (second time this has happened), and hes all bandaged up, but it just annoys me that **** like this happens at places designed to watch out for them. :\ Tried to vent it all out on the weights and treadmill before I got home. It sucks to hear about your grandpa. Personally, I think you should visit him regardless of him remembering you. My grandma went through a similar phase before she died and I'm glad I spent whatever time I could with her before she passed away. It's terrible to hear the things that go on at these homes sometimes. Usually they're extremely understaffed. Hopefully things change for the better.
All that being said, great workout. I know sh!tty times in your personal life can give you extra fuel for workouts. It's a healthy outlet for sure.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883

Yeah visiting him would certainly make my mom happy too. I'm not sure if its under staffing, or the fact that they really seem to just want to sedate the patients rather then deal with them. You're right though, I need to go. Thanks @ great workout comment too.

Sounds like one amazing grandpa bro. you should definitely visit him man. Though he doesn't remember you that's still blood. Blood sticks with blood during the hardest of times. You only have one family and they're not here forever. Make it count with the time you have with him.

Not really a cyborg...yet.
Roids for sure. The one thing that I know for sure is that anytime someone is making killer progress and others are not...it's clearly that the on making the progress is 'cheating'. Because it could never be from a optimal program relevant to trainees level, rogressive overload and nutrition...it's never that.OG

Thanks man.
Yeah, the problem is my family doesn't get along ever. Long story, and I know most families have problems, but trust me, mine is miz.
I told you I think but the PT at my gym asked a friend of mine to "lightly ask mark how he got so big so fast". I've been questioned for if I've "ever done a cycle" by 2 people.Don't stop hustlin'
