Felt strong as fcuk today and evidently it shows. Wanted to only hit 3 singles after the top set but just felt so good so I did another single and a double, at that point I was having a hard time unracking the weight so I decided to stop.

Again nice and easy started to have to really push them bu about the 15th rep. But was able to get them all in. Arms swolen as fcuk right now.

Overall another strong day in da gym. Bench felt great. I got drill this weekend so yeah, I get to blown sh!t up. Plus I'm getting some new boots(recruits, to you non Marines) so I'll get to put them through their paceses. Two days off then Deadlifts on Monday.

I also heard the new Metal of Honor is killer as well...I think some SEALs got busted down for helping develop that game.

Strong pulls today, which I didn't think was going to happen as I was having a little sore elbow on warm ups, probably from the wood cutting and log carrying that I did yesterday. Still probably had a good 5 reps in me, but I wanted to hit some heavy singles...which I am liking very much for some added heavy volume. Had to really dig deep down for that 4th single.

I went with the pull downs on deads mainly because my back is shot and I can't get the kind of volume that I'd like with pull ups.

Last week I did 2x10 then 2x8 so I went all out this week and hit 4x10. I was breathing pretty hard after all the sets and it really tested my grip strength as well as. Felt good all over.

Overall, a great start to the Holiday week. Deads felt nice and strong.

Yeah, that's the kind of sh!t I miss at my gym. Thinking about getting one as well. I brought in smaller weight plates a few months back and no one took those, so I assume the deadlift jack won't get stolen either.

Sorta but not really, LOL with the powerlifting it's 3/5/1 and you do 2-3 singles up to your max or training max. I'm just using the singles to put a tad more volume on with heavier weight.

Nice pulls. You are not a serious gym goer, unless you do front raises with the deadlift jack. How I would love one at my gym, my delts would be huge!

So if you might recall back in October I had a stress test done and a cardiac MRI. Well I got the results back from the MRI an turns out that my heart is 100% perfect, not bad considering I have open heart surgery when I was 24 months old and used to smoke 2 packs a day alone with booze and pain killers. So I have to go back every 2 years to get the MRI so they can see if there is any expansion or leaks.

Still waiting on the stress test results, but I nailed that so I'm not to worried about it.
