Sounds like 5/3/1 Boring but Big rep scheme. If you are doing that one, have you seen the BBB challenge? You basically go 50% for 5x10, then 60% for the next week and so on. I reckon 70%+ would be challenging as fuk.
Shii, that is my long term goal. Right now I'm trying to smash 535, which I've failed 2-3x before but I'm stronger than ever right now so I'm confident in my ability to do so. Logically, it would be 555 after that, then 585 to achieve 6 plates. Soon...
I think our timing will coincide on this one as it's still a far-away goal.

I tried deadlifts for the first time maybe 10yrs ago. I think I was able to get 275lb and got stuck on 300lb. But I bruised up my shins and didn't like that.

I'm shooting for before end of the year for the 585-600 deadlift. I want to hit over 455 on squat before end of the year and hit 435 on bench.

I never deadlifted until 3 years ago. I only did heavy shrugs, hammer strength equipment on back workouts then. Back then I was just lifting and just enjoying life like going out more (hitting the clubs, drinking, strip joints, traveling, etc.) and stuff especially when I was living in Dallas.CONQUERING BARBELL

That is why you look huge at your weight. DLs would add some mass to virtually every part of your body brah. Give you a solid, powerlifter physique.
Strong numbers.. mirin old man strength . 455/435/600.. Were you considerably heavier when you had numbers close to this? 220 lbs maybe? I'm also shooting for the 4 plate squat, and at least 250 bench. Weak ass bench crew checking in.
Will make a vid next cycle as I'm now entering 2 week deload and then another 3 weeks to hit the top week of 5/3/1. Form looks bad tbh, my upper back is really underdeveloped compared to lower back so it looks horrendous. Working on upper back size to fix this so I don't look like a fool when I DL.

LOL. Yeah I was heavier, 245-250 at that time. But that's at 6'0 tall.
I always have strong pressing since that's all I trained mostly back in the day
At that weight, I could do 255X4 seated barbell shoulder press. I did 225X10X3 sets before. Can't wait to lean bulk and massacre those PR's.
