I agree with you regarding the prevalence of Skype internationally. Since my company does business overseas and has FTEs in Europe, Skype makes the most sense. Other companies I've worked at with mainly domestic business have used the traditional US IM services mentioned.

Microsoft bought Skype so I would expect Lync to get, if it hasn't already, some Skype-like features.

Yup aware, Lync does a lot more. It utilizes the Exchange server and I think might become interoperatable with Skype.

UC infrastructure as in for Video/ audio conferencing.

Multi point interfacing on a large scale. Polycom, Cisco, Radvisiin,LifeSize and so forth.

It seems as the the rest of the world is more dependent on skype than here. I mean I use it from time to time, but I think Americans just prefer other forms of communication whenever possible, no matter what the expense. Skype being the communication choice in the most at need situations. Whereas other countries just consider it more common practice. Then again other countries preferred to text than make voice calls, while we were the opposite. But over the last few years, we now text as much as the rest of the world, so who knows what will be in the next few years. I dunno, I'm probably wrong.

I have the black and white EliteFTS ones and have them for almost 2 1/2 years and I love them. I also have the same pair for knee sleeves when I'm going for broke on squats. I haven't use those lately since I'm squatting lighter weights.

Thanks fellas, for now I'll get the Shieks since it's off the shelf. Will look into the GASP and Elite FS. Was considering the Inzer and maybe even the Rogue. I twisted my right wrist doing Power cleans yesterday and wrist wrap may have helped.

Xfit is actually cool IMO but again it depends on what the person wants to get out of it.

Glad to be going back to conventional lifting plus biking season is around the corner. Glad I did it since it got me in shape fast.


I saw some xfitters with the typical xfit attitudes and I bit my tongue on numerous occasions. I know it's not meant for building muscle and looking at many before after pics of members they went from skinny fat or fat to looking average. Strong unaware of what really works but then again I don't know their goals.


One dude is a member for 4 years and looks like a regular dude. Not even that shredded or muscular.

I did give my opinion on one of the female instructors who I said I was going to the regular gym for compounds and she said I don't need to do that. I said how do you know what I do or don't need? Needless to say she lost that battle.
