Guys so I figured out the secret of legs since my quads are finally to take some shape. It's just impossible for them to get ripped without size and it's impossible for them to get ripped doing light weights and it's pretty much impossible to even get both by doing legs once a week. I've added another .5 inches on my upper leg and I can begin to see some lines forming now and I'm doing legs 3x times a week.

Just like to tell everyone I'm glad I don't live in the U.S. anymore because the 3D Animation / VFX industry in America is eating sh!t and eating sh!t hard. When the big firms, the pioneers of our industry like Digital Domain, Rhythm & Hues, DreamWorks Animation are doing mass layoffs or declaring bankruptcy while making Oscar winning movies and box office hits it tells you something is definitely fuked up. Now the VFX artists in America are creating a VFX Union which won't solve anything but drive the prices to make a movie even higher. But on the bright side to this is Hollywood is looking towards China, India, and Russia now to do their VFX work which benefits me but this won't be for at least another decade cause these countries are still pretty primitive when it comes to quality.

I've been hitting legs 2 or 3 times per week too, depending if I have time. But I've been doing sets of 3-6 reps cause I feel weak and want to increase strength on my squat. Some people do 8-12.
Seems like from what a lot of people say, legs need more volume. Some people just do a ton of sets/reps on leg day and do legs once per week. But leg day just kills me. I can't take a lot of volume in one day, so I've been doing smaller volume. But I'll try do leg day 2 or 3 times in the week.
But I don't think I can build much on legs right now cause I'm cutting. Wish I could cut upper body and bulk lower body at the same time.

I agree with difficulty of adding size on legs while cutting, you can still recomp it to where it appears bigger since you will be keeping the size but more ripped, thicker looking (no homo).
I hit legs twice a week, one power day (3-5 reps for 3 working sets) and one hypertrophy day (10-15 reps for 3 working sets). Going good so far even while on a cut. I have filmed a few of my sessions to critique and correct my squat form. I want to be able to lift heavy weights but controlled and make it look effortless.CONQUERING BARBELL

Tuesdays are the full leg workout doing lunges, squats, extensions, sitting leg press, vertical leg press, hamstring curls, straight leg deads, and calves each doing 10-15 reps, 4 sets each while taking 3-4 seconds to lower the weight during each rep.
Thurs and Saturdays I only do extensions and I pick 2 compound lifts usually squats or deads and lunges or vertical leg presses doing 10-12 reps, 3-4 sets each while taking 3-4 seconds to lower the weight during each rep. Or if I'm short on time then I'll just do one set of vertical leg presses at a 30% of my heavy sets and do 1 set for 100 reps which is usually just adding 60-70lbs on each side.
With extensions and hamstring curls, I figured out the best results I got is doing them was using single legs and squeezing for 5 seconds doing only 30-40lbs.

Squats - 3 sets x 3-5 seems to work pretty well for me
Either lunges/ stiff legged DLs after that for higher reps

Did a 6.8 miles hike. Legs were destroyed but felt great afterward. This makes me realize how zhitty my endurance is. Now that hiking season is on, going to be doing a lot more.

So I didn't go to work yesterday n slept in 24 out of 28 hours. I lost 9bs due to this stomach virus since wensday night.
I workout legs twice a week heavy as I can. Except for last night bc I tried to sleep this tummy flu off. I'm very weak n tired now. Hope this ends soon so I can eat n train againFictional character

Even that thread title is fail. Clothed bodybuilders, lol. What are they supposed to do, wear posing trunks in public 24 hours a day?
Actually a lot of the old schoolers dressed pretty good. But in the end it's just comfort, and ultimately when your that big, you just buy what fits. Good, bad or ugly.
Also the best part of having a normal build is clothes just look that much more aesthetic.
I think Frank is a nice guy, but one of the most unimpressive bodybuilding physiques in person. Maybe because he had that awesome photo series a few years ago and I was expecting to see that.
Funny hearing a dude that benches 600lbs refer to his stomach as a "tummy". Do you put the juicy juice in your tushy too?
Get your rest, drink lots of fluids, try to eat and get better bro.
