i got nothing really against xfit . if it gets you in shape keep doing it. saw the xfit games.. hella hard lol.

Most xfitters seem like they are good folks who don't judge. I know a few on a personal level and they are judging people to begin with, they seem to be the ones who fit the cult like attitude.

Yeah, the ones who haven't drank the KoolAid are cool. I really don't have an issue with the exercises they do, though I don't agree with the whole crank out as many reps regardless of form, esp on those olympic lifts. But I was doing some of the stuff Xfit does before I knew what Xfit was too, so I do like that they don't just do all traditional bodybuilding lifts.

But the cultists....stay far away from them. They'll try to convince you your workouts are inferior and you don't know how to eat right.

There's a couple that come to my gym. I dont' care what they do, except there's one guy that will work on multiple things at once to superset like squat rack, pullup station, and a bench for dumbbells. And if you jump on one while he isn't there cause he's now doing the other things, he says he's still working there. My gym is small so I really I hate people hogging stuff like that.

And then there's this one scrawny goofy looking dude who wears a weight vest and does those kipping pullups. I see him look at me after his sets to see if I'm watching.

I agree it's hella hard and fun watching the XFit games on ESPN. I have nothing against them but also I expect the same gym etiquette as they are sharing the gym with other regulars. My current gym as you seen in my vids is small not like LA Fitness/24/7 Fitness or larger chains.

EDIT: Also don't worry about sending me samples. I purchased a tub of Hyde to try out.

I mean granted this kid, yes a 20 sumthin know it all who happened to be son of the biggest car dealership in my area was the one doing xfit and seems to have that attitude that you are talking about. He has all the Rogue Fitness gear, reebok crossfit nano's, even a military back pack and he's not even in the service.

Again no hate but I've dealt with guys like him in the past and no not jelly once. I make good money that mommy and daddy doesn't just hand off to me.

I just talked on the phone with an ex-coworker friend that I worked with like 5yrs ago. She's been out of work since Oct too. And just like I thought, there was nothing over the holidays, and she's just starting to get calls from some consulting companies now.

She was telling me that there's not been much out there from what she's been seeing. And she's alot more experienced that I am too, so it's kinda depressing. And all the calls she's been getting at all are all for job assignments that are out of state. She's ok with that cause she's got no family and doesn't care if she travels full time. But I know I can't do that unless I'm really desperate cause that means I won't be seeing my son much.

I need to win the lottery...not even a bazillion dollars. I just want enough so that I can pay all my debts, and then maybe still work but not worry about how much I make and won't have to kiss ass to climb the ladder or put up with crap like I was doing in my last job.
