I did chest day today, and squated. I was reading some stuff about squatting almost everyday, so I was going to try to start doing that during this cut so that maybe the legs would grow during the cut and I wouldn't need to run to burn calories too.

But I'm soooo tired from doubling up on my workout. Not sure my body can handle squats on top of the normal workout each time.

Good job JB! If you want to continue squatting, look into getting some Olympic weightlifting shoes made for squatting. They have a raised heel to make it easier to squat deep. Plus you'll feel rock stable while doing it.

Hey Shark. Not much...looking for a new job now. And just started my cut for real today...trying to ballpark ~2000cals/day to start off with.

Squatting every day? No thank you. I like to have my knees when I get older.

I don't feel any discomfort ever on my knees when squatting. Maybe cause I've been trying to do ass to grass. People that do that say they never get any knee issues. Its stopping above parallel (like 95% of the people that squat) that causes knee issues.

Yeah buddy that's reason I do ATG or just below parallel on my squats to save my knees. I have a bad left knee and don't to aggrevate it. I also do light leg extensions since I dislocated my left knee two years ago performing a heavier weight.

It's actually healthier for your knees as long as your squat form is good.

Both of my knees click when I flex them. No big deal. Just make sure you wear knee sleeves
