Oh ya! I lived there out of high school for about 8 months then when I joined the Army I was bounced around quite a bit spending the better part of the last 6 years in Edmonton.
My girlfriend is from Milton, I think that's fairly close to Guelph? She used to carpool to college with a girl who's BF played for the U of G....My only ties to Guelph haha.**CAN Army Veteran**

Does anybody here take creatine? What the hell does it even do, anyways? Is it just a pre-workout booster?

I'd say it's more of a long term supplement. At least creatine mono... It takes several weeks of consistent use to help your workouts. Essentially it will let you do more work. Maybe a little more weight or a rep or two more. There are quite a few of studies, and it really does promote muscle growth. But not by magic, by helping you to do more work per workout, and that equals strength and muscle gains.
That's a good summary. However it doesn't mention the super hydrating of your muscle cells... Creatine draws more water into your muscle cells. That's why you'll notice a few pounds of water weight. Drink plenty of water, your body will need it with creatine.
Part of the reason I replied was to ask if anyone gets dull headaches from creatine? No matter how much water I take in, I get annoying dull headaches. I miss taking creatine, and when I stop taking it I feel so weak. I tried 5g a 2.5g a day, and still annoying headaches. What's odd is that I don't remember getting headaches when I first started taking it. They seemed to happen when I started really taking it regularly.Jan 2010: 210 lbs

Just eat less? Who knew it was so easy to NOT be fat?

Never got any headaches and personally doubt it was the cause. I can eat steak all day long and not stroke out I pound 10gs a day. Srs
weight can be harder to gauge at times due to the roller coaster of depletion, salt and creatine. Only side effect I've ever noticed. I eliminate all to get my baseline and the same to check progress, took a long time to have faith in the mirror.Homerotic Modulator, Envious of Idiocy
