    Activity level

    Hey guys im trying to recalculate my calories and im not sure what to use for my energy out put. I lift 5 days a week and work part 2-3 time a week and spend the rest of the time doing nothing I was going to put 1.5 does this seem right?

    Calorie equations are only so effective, since it is generalized. There are many small variables not accounted for when aiming for a calorie deficit, including varying basal metabolic rate, varying amounts of lipids, proteins and carbs in packages, etc. etc.

    For the most part, if you are aiming for a deficit, just make sure you go a little lower than what you initially planned, unless you are going to an extreme (1200cals or less, if under this, you need to be supervised)

    If aiming for a surplus, same thing but opposite.
