I've been doing Pull ups. All different types of pull-ups know to man. I see pull-ups doing there job but i want to focus on hit'n 1 lat so i can make it catch up in size to the other.. Dig. But yeah i've been doing lots of different types of pull-ups or chins what ever you want to call them and plan on jump'n up to the bar with some weight attached to my hips very soon.

Pullups are great if your scapula flexibility is equal on both sides, otherwise other muscles might be taking over more on one side from our natural tendancy to develop more overall strength/flexibiliy in our dominant limbs. This can happen with any movement.
Lower the weight on your movements, be sure to retract the scapula first and make sure your shoulders/traps are equal on both sides when you do this, because if you can't do this without a decent difference from each side or a different burning feeling on each side then your shoulder girdle is not balanced and no matter what you do it will continue the way its going.
Check out this link and the stuff in there, lots of good posture info there: Its how i cured myself from almost serious injury!
