Cals of PWO meal vary, maybe 1000, maybe more, maybe less, i just plug stuff in i want to eat the day before .

Typically pre-workout meal is around 500kcals if i have one, pre-bed is around 1000+, and post-workout the rest
eating over 3000 calories now .

defintely not trolling....I read it as this "and post-workout the rest eating over 3000 calories now ." I read it all as one sentance. Since there is no punctuation it could easily have been read you are eating 3k cals in your PWO.....with 1000 pre bed and 500 pre workout, thats only 4500 a day, not an excessive amount on a bulk at your weight.

Anyways, 1500 is much more managable meals.

4500 cals is a pretty excessive bulk for his size actually.

Since when was it not the most important factor when determining it?

Whoop-dee-do so he works out once a day and probably burns about 350 extra cals. 4500 cals is plenty for someone his age, size, weight, and activity level.

Unless he is on the bicycle and popping stims multiple times daily on top of thyroxine or some ****. I doubt he needs any more than that to gain 2lb a month easily. And half that wont even been lean mass gain. (again if natural)

    no its not.
Go watch a layne norton DVD or listen to some contest prep coaches and their clients.
I know some people who need more than that to gain at my size.
Go read the nutrition section. some people are 150 pounds and eat 4500+ calories
Look at the Snyrgo guy in the nutrition section. He is eating almost 900g of carbs daily and weighs around 155-160 pounds, and is pushing well over 5k calories.

Everyone is different, some people have crazy metabolism's, and some people do not. There are too many factors.

Originally Posted by AdamWW View Post

^^^ BINGO, Genetics/metabolism play the major role. NEAT plays a factor,
    weight, height, age

it can go on and on...

This is why people get mis-informed on major areas about nutrition.

Unless he is on the bicycle and popping stims multiple times daily on top of thyroxine or some ****. I doubt he needs any more than that to gain 2lb a month easily. And half that wont even been lean mass gain. (again if natural)
    Size/composition determines BMR

Activity/Lifestyle determines TDEE, which is all that matters in the context of this topic

^^^ BINGO, Genetics/metabolism play the major role. NEAT plays a factor,
    weight, height, age

it can go on and on...

This is why people get mis-informed on major areas about nutrition.
True. I've always been jealous of people with that kind of metabolic rates, at least come cutting time.

My problem is that I'd like to eat 4500 cals a day, but can't bulk on that unless I start doing double lifting sessions with cardio following each one... 6 days a week... with a treadmill and desk podium for work... while walking the entire day at a 4.0 and 11 % incline. Throw in a few games of basketball on top of that, and I think I could swing it

    Those meals look delicious. Wow.
