Although it is further east on the map, Illinois is considered midwest bro .

When i get to the gym i get in there to get in, do my work and get out. Filming requires time, uploading requires time, editing requires time etc etc. Do i have a lot of spare time? no.
I am more focused on taking care of getting to work on time (my jobs i do since i have a few)
Focusing my spare time on my teaching, degree, and fulfilling all the required steps i need to for substitue teaching + Acquiring acceptable towards the school board around my community.
Focusing on my social life, spending time with friends instead of sitting on a computer and editing film and squats etc.
If i get some spare time like i said i will get to it, but recently i have not been maxing or anything worthy of a video. Mostly Time Under Tension and Mind muscle connection while still trying to beat the log book weekly.

While beating the progress book is great and all, sometimes we get too caught up in our form, too caught up in this or that or the little details when we should be focusing on the bigger picture.
is it great to take a video to check form now and then.. yeah.
Is it great to take a video everytime you hit a PR, sure it may make you feel better
But whats better? take a video when you add 20-30 pounds to your squat every couple months or when you break a PR by 5 pounds and analyzing your form to a T.
Just like why i dont really post pics too much too often anymore, i rather see a BIG change then a minor change. Especially since my training these last few weeks is nothing over 75-85% on the current mesocycle, but yet still seeing changes in the mirror and slowly adding weight on the scale.

I'm the EXACT opposite. I like to take pictures and videos all the time and compare. You can still compare the changes at a 30 pound PR from such and such a date. To each their own though! We all have different personalities, motivations, and reasons for what we do! If everyone were the same life would be boring! Keep up the good work Bob and enjoy super bowl sunday!

This. I didn't realize people put that much time into editing etc. I just click and post. I wouldn't go through all the trouble of editing and all that either. I just prop up the iPod and record. Nothing fancy but meets my needs and the time I have and am willing to put into it
Bob what takes so long getting sub certified? When I did it I had to take a half a day course and I was good to goPL Log

School Board Approval (Interview with school board president + attending school board meeting next month for approval and speech in front of school board why you want to teach in school district)
Necessary Documents (ID, Physical, 5 letters of recommendation, TB Test, Act 34, Act 151, Fingerprinting, Transcripts, Soc Security Card, Letter to School Board why you want to teach in this school district, praxis scores, Letter of approval from cooperating teacher (who you did student teaching with), letter of approval from college supervisor)
Then tons of paperwork for the school districts, literally had to sign over 30+ documents and spent near 2 hours of paperwork last week.

Wow. That is more work than our teachers have to go through. They have to e approved by the board but don't have to be interviewed by them, speak in front of them etc. That's crazy for a sub job

Yeah, I took all those tests prior to getting accepted into my education program. I guess every state is different though!

Filming your lifts doesn't take anymore time than cooking elaborate meals. Or taking pictures of those meals. Or posting in multiple threads on an internet forum.

I have done nothing above 85% the last 8 weeks, nothing is really video worthy right now. Whenever i get placed back on a strength mesocycle where more heavy lifting is involved and less tempo training then i will probably see where my Squat/bench/DL Stand. Seeing most of my work is tempo focused right now.
