Lol. This. The most ignorant annoying form of striving for attention in the gym. I've seen someone grunt because the weight was heavy so it was legit but most of the time it's not. Or this one *Slams the weights down and looks around to see who is watching*

I only grunt when I really push myself, it's not every rep. Also I do not SHOUT grunt, it is a more subtle one.

I know everybody around here gets tired of hearing people b*tch about people at the gym, but since you asked OP...

1. People using their cell phone at the gym. You can't possibly be focused on doing work when you are fb'ing between every set.
2. People sitting on equipment for several minutes of rest between sets. Move your a$$.
3. People who look nowhere near as fit as you coming up and offering advice on what you should be doing...and your earbuds are IN.
4. People having convos so loud I can hear them over my iPod set on its highest volume...STFU and work!
5. People not re-racking their weights when finished...if your wife, gf, or mama doesn't work at the gym, put your sh*t up when you're done.
6. Girls coming with their guy and following him around to each piece of equipment...do some work! Even if it is just getting on the treadmill.

Whew...I feel much better now. There's so much more, but I'll save it for another day. Carry on er'body...

All of this stuff cracks me up but the only thing that actually ticks me off is not reracking weights. More so the lack of unloading from the bar. That is only because that affects me personally.

You know, like the lady who got locked in the trunk of a car so now we have to have a mandatory latch inside the trunk to let you out... or someone who's kid got run over by a car reversing, so now they are trying to pass a law that all cars must by law have back up cameras... Even a lefty like Gov. Jerry Brown said "Not every human problem deserves a law".

You know it is funny that you say this because while I was working out last Wednesday and yesterday I noticed this couple that came in. The guy was working out and the girl would follow him everytime he moved. The only time she moved was when he was doing bicep curls so she decided to get on the big ball and do like 15,000 crunches. She never picked up and weight or anything just followed him all over the place. Talk about clingy!

It rustles my jimmies that politicians and lobbyists work so hard to micromanage everyone's lives, instead of being the the real "servants" they ought to be, and yet they can exempt themselves from certain things and for the most part live in the lap of luxury. Without getting too political, I think we ought to clean house of all of them and redo the whole benefits packages of these folks. Maybe if they were on the same income level as the majority of the rest of us they'd have a little more initiative to actually help and not control so damn much.

I use the bb.com workout tracker. it is kind of a PITA to add exercises and sets but it works.
