I'm doing it wrong...

My jillies have been really rustled the past 2 weeks. My husband's company has completely screwed all of the professional engineer's that work there. We are now in a position where we can't afford to live in the house we just bought 8 months ago and are going to struggle to pay bills. I am going to have to get a night job (As well as look after my 2 and 4 yr old boys all day) just to be able to afford to live. We bought a bigger house because we had made the decision to stay in this area. The $40 000 in equity that we had is now GONE because we bought this house. When my husband finds a new job, we won't be able to afford to buy a house because we will have no down payment and haven't been here long enough for the property to increase in value or to have paid down the mortgage at all.

In other words, we are going to be starting at the bottom of the barrel again. I am so angry and I am so frustrated...

Sucks!! Hope the financial stuff works out, as for a Job ppl do it all the time. Single mom takes care of the kids during the day and work at night.. part of life.

Thank you!! It is much much better, just have to bring that leg back to the same size as the other now. Which I am going about by doing 2 leg days a week instead of 1, on top of the Physical Therapy twice a week.

Was not on any other items in the store but this one right by checkout counter.

I remember being a poor child, but my mother not being able to get foodstamps. I walked to the gas station one day with a boy I liked, and he used his moms food stamp card to by junk food. Blew my mind then, still blows my mind now. It's not food.

Lol ladies. Yeah real healthy stuff. Friend said we are letting them buy this so in a few years we can pay for their healthcare and treat them for diabetes.

My mom was out if work and daddy had only part time employment with 5 kids and denied for food stamps. I see people everyday where I live driving luxury cars and living in nice houses using EBT cards. Infuriates me!!!

I was thinking this has got to be just in Alabama!!! You know these folks gotta eat round here! Why shouldn't they have a slice of pizza! Went in store the other day and they do the Hunts Bros Pizzas which is convenient store stuff and had a note on the pizza display "EBT cards used for whole pizzas only". LOL!!

Nut is my "forum home." I love it over there. These newbs come in and post their questions. I answer. I get ignored. The boys answer with the same info. They get "thanks brah!" I call them out and I get:

I was bumped during squats one day.

I cant go full ROM in the one squat rack at my gym, so I have to walk the weight out and squat right outside of the rack. That's where everyone likes to walk, and there's not much room between me squatting and the calf press machine. The desk girls take potential new members through walk-throughs in the gym, and they always walk the people right behind me. While I'm squatting. It makes me furious. You would think that they would know better.

Nothing like that has ever happened to me. I can't even imagine the stupidity required. There are plenty of dumbasses at my gym but most are considerate dumbasses. The guy who bumped me was a young kid on the t-bar machine that is too close to the squat rack and he apologized and turned red.

You mean pulled plates off your bar mid-squat? I don't even.....

P.S. - I hope things worked itself out with your girl.

Certainly not as bad but distracting nonetheless is when people start to pull plates off the rack while I'm squatting. One kid even went to grab the pad that wraps around the bar that was on the floor in front of me. It just makes me lose my focus on what I'm doing.

I must say I get bumped less working out at a co-ed gym than when I was at a women's gym. The women were constantly walking right into me. My favorite was the lady who almost walked into the bar while I was benching, only reason she didn't is her friend stopped her with "oh, don't get hit!" WTF?! I think I would have been in a worse position than her if she'd kept going???
