I run the wire for my headphones under my shirt now. Got my ears ripped off too many times.

I bought a pair of bluetooth headphones and a bluetooth transmitter for my cheap/old mp3 player . . . got tired of the freaking headphone cord getting in the way and having the headphones pulled out. Only drawback is that the charge only lasts about 3 workouts, so I have to charge it every couple days. Other than that, it's been great to get rid of the cord.

What R's my J's:
When the only cute chicks that check me out and smile at the bar/club are the ones w/a guy already. lol.. I'm not saying I cant do a cold approach and talk to a girl who doesn't give me any attention first but it can be mildly frustrating sometimes.
Also, being asked to help someone move the day after an honest 5x5 squat workout. On a good note though, my glutes, quads AND hamstrings were sore pretty equally. When I first started ATG/Olympic/High bar squats, I'd feel it the next day WAY more in the quads than anything. I know that style of squatting uses the quads more but it still uses the hams and glutes to a significant degree.
I hate this. Imagine doing olympic lifts w/earbuds. And when you do front squats you have to run them from behind your back or else the bar w/press against the wire and your neck... such big pain in ass.Sept of Baelor was an inside job. Wildfire can't melt stone masonry.

I usually just listen to the gym radio, or tune it out. I know I would destroy any earbuds I wore

Coming from the same place as BW, I think I know exactly what he's talking about here.
Growing up I watched American TV programs constantly and I always got the impression of a completely color blind society. I used to watch "Miami Vice" or "Chips" and there was never some kind of finger pointed to Tubbs being black or Ponch being brown. So when I came to the US it was race everywhere, race on every form I had to fill, every word was racially charged, walking on race eggshells everywhere. It was just not what I expected at all.
So saying "a man approached me at the gym" isn't sexist, but "a black man approached me at the gym" is racist? WTF? Here I thought 'racist' had something to do with mentioning race in a derogatory way, but it seems now it's racist to mention race AT ALL.
I understand this is the American culture, and it's my job to adapt to it and understand it, but it can look pretty weird to foreigners sometimes. And it's not a value judgment, it's just an observation.Follow my 2018 competition prep here:

I go through a lot of earbuds , I buy them at marshall's lol you can get a good pair for $5 the last one i bought has a silk cord that never tangles .. amazing they are the longest lasting pair i've ever had
however the other day i stepped on it and cracked the housing , taped it together as good as new
but I did go and buy a pair of full headphones that are pretty awesome and have a built in microphone not on the cable like most have but in the housing itself .. mind blowingwho says love has to be soft and gentle ?

Him being "big" and "middleaged" could have relevance as to why he thinks it's okay to spew broscience at you- 1/ he lifts 2/ he's been doing it a while and probably thinks he knows better than you.
and FTR white people don't have the monopoly on racism.
Today my jimmies are rustled by six-monthly price hikes in public transport. ffs.
