People who think their problems are so huge craze me.
Like this time I sort of ran over this girl on her bike. It was the most traumatizing event of my life, and she's trying to make it about her leg! Like my pain meant nothing.

All right boys, now watch how this is done. The key is to put it all in your groin and your back.
Take your legs totally out of the equation. Lift with your lower back in a jerking, twisting motion.

Oh man.. I hate when people do things like that. When I have people over, I put youtube on my projector against the wall, full screen it and just put whatever songs I feel like. Someone will always say, "Man, put something else."
"What?"
"I don't know... just something else."
facepalm.

As long as it makes me stronger!
Gen went online last night and found that it is quite common to get hiccups after going under anesthesia, something about the vagus nerve. So we used one of the tried and true methods from people that got hiccups after surgery and it worked. Have been using it ever since and can get them settled fairly quickly.Journal- One of the Ogres

In my family the remedy was to accuse the person of something they didn't do. I've seen it work like a charm EVERY time. A few years ago my cousin's gf was hiccuping like crazy and I said that I saw a picture of her on ******** kissing another guy. It worked like a charm but she almost started crying lol.

BW- wolverine strength would not be bad at all!
She's such a sneaky little devil! Solving my problems with sexiness. Getting hiccups part way through last night made us laugh. More due to the Murphy's Law nature of it all. Had a do-over in the AM.Journal- One of the Ogres

I saw a man at the clinic today who came into have dentures put in...except there was a cavity on the right side of is face. That means the area from underneath his eyebrow to his upperlip was a hole. He wasn't even angry at life and was happy he was finally getting teeth (because his gum pallette was missing) so he could eat normally.
I stayed calm, but I was raging hard inside. Raging at the political leaders who send soldiers to war for selfish reasons...more often than to "protect our freedoms". He suffered two strokes and a heart attack this last year, too, and wouldn't let anyone help him in and out of his wheelchair. I just wanted to give him a gigantic hug.

sigh.. I went to a slam poetry final a few weeks ago. A young Pakistani guy did a really powerful piece about war.
"Sun Tzu was wrong. There is no art in war, for there is no love in war.. and art is love".
Chilled me to the absolute core. Then made me cry like a baby.
Jimmies rustled that I can't find youtube clips of it.
