I think it was a good topic of discussion. Even Barbara Hall, the head of the Ontario Human Rights Commission,says she isn't surprised by the action.

She said that as Canada becomes more diverse, rights are coming into conflict.

"No right is absolute," said Hall. "So no right trumps another."

This will be an interesting case to follow.

SigmundFreud started the one in here. The thread in the Misc was deleted too. Guessing ov35 was missed because the thread title doesn't reference the topic, or because it died quickly.

No men are allowed to post threads on the fem misc. Even if they are good / worthy threads. We can respond, but not start threads.

I PM'd Iceman as I started the one on "How to not screw up your Marriage" and it got pulled. I asked him to at least update the rules so we all know what is OK and what is not.

He has not responded and no updates to the rules.

Just straight censorship. Rustles my jimmies.

I understand what Iceman posted in this thread, and I appreciate the efforts to keep trolls out but there are plenty of men who contribute here in a good way. I hope things get cleared up...

Ya this sucks. I don't think there is much we can do about it either. It seems like there is a decline in posts too. I know I've been lurking in other sub forums more as of late.

i'm sure there was a reason of some sort.

i think that if more ppl ignored what clearly are troll creations, the need to mod would be less.
that said, threads that are blatant cut downs on women, etc...should be deleted. not that women here can't defend ourselves, but u hate to see the femme section become mainly an area riddled with threads that cause us to be on the defense.

I use the same password for everything. Back in the early computer days, my EH and I both just used "password."


Then he started doing things not so on the up-and-up, and got creative with new passwords.

More women used to post in the O35 so you could get male and female input on threads, but that dwindled greatly in the past year.
