Truck decides the power steering rack wanted to start leaking on me while i was gone for two days. Come back to see this i was sooo mad. Im not mad that it happened because i knew it was going to after all the stress and size of tires on it. But just that it happened to me now and i don't have any of my tools here to fix it myself ( Army has all my stuff in shipping ). Now i gotta cough up almost $800 for someone to fix it for me when i could have done it myself for $400. Unlucky i guess.

Same here, the politic threads give me a serious headache.

No hobby shop on base? (assuming you're close to a base) Think it's like $10 to rent a bay and they should have whatever tools you need.

Yeah i used that stuff all the time in Germany and even when i was at Ft Hood but the one here in Nellis closed down about 3 months ago a guy was telling me because it was just run so poorly.

My cat woke me and both kids up before 7 - my daughter came to sleep with me at 1am, and while I enjoy the snuggling, it's not quality sleeping. My son was on the couch. My daughter has run out of Halloween candy and my son still has some and won't share. Jimmies rustled.

When Marvin died (was killed) my mom grieved almost as badly as I did as when Jerry died.

You know, oddly, I did not shed any physical tears. I just felt...ill. . And then, for the longest time, terribly displaced. I mean, it was my IDENTITY for chrissakes. It was who I was, and what I did. I was a deadhead, who went where they went. It was how I earned my living. Who was I now, and what was I gonna do now that he is gone?
