I don't see a rule about where men can't start a thread in female misc, but they all get deleted, even the normal threads. it says this:

Sometimes us stroller pushers are left with no other option.

I can't count the number of times someone has tried to walk over top of my stroller. I've literally had people fall on my child and then give me a look of disgust for being in their way.

That said, I love the moms who walk 4+ strollers wide. Really?

People can be cruel and mean to kids, especially women with kids. I was walking behind my wife in the mall while she was pushing the stroller and my son was in front of her, he accidentally ran in to this older Asian guy, the guy pushed my 4 year old son to the ground, so I did the same, grabbed him by his face and pushed him down till he fell. His wife started calling the cops, Security came there to talk to me, all I said was I was going to have a word with my son and make him apologise to this POS here, but he laid his hands on my child and he is lucky I didnt stomp his brains in to the concrete here. Nonetheless guy said hed file charges, talked to the cops outside, one of the cops was like, man he cant file anything, if he does you can too. but I would have done the same if someone touched my child.

Hi there I'm going to close this thread temporarily after I post this so people get a chance to read this and it doesn't get lost in the traffic. I promise to open it back up later. I see some have noticed some changes here and I'd like to state why. I'm probably older than 99% of you on here and have been lifting for over 30 years. One thing I've noticed is the lack of females lifting over the years but that number is starting to grow. This site is also a business. Women are still a small part of it but that is growing also. In order to help grow that business, women need to feel they have a safe place to learn about lifting, diet and nutrition. I know most of you already here are quite knowledgeable but there are new women signing up daily. The last thing they want is to come to a place supposed to be for females and see a thread started from a guy asking if women like to give blowjobs. They see that and run the other way. They end up not getting advice and help they need. I'm not a prude and if ladies want to start a thread rating men's bodies, more power to you. But being this is the female section, why do men feel its appropriate to start threads like that? You don't see what we do as mods. You may think its just another poster asking a question when in fact, its a guy on his 3rd troll account trying to be funny. I'm not going to allow guys from the regular misc to come here and take over threads and post in every one they can trying to gain your trust when they have other motives. Women are going to have a section on this site where they can post penly and honestly without juvenile boys insulting them or making them feel bad about themselves. You have already seen thread deletions and posts going away. A couple miscer's this morning had their precious greens turned to red for being stupid on here. I'm not sayine men can't post here but they will understand this section is for females, not for them.

I see your point and it is nice to have someone around here actually cleaning up now and again (not that other mods didn't but it did seem largely unpoliced for a while there) but this is still a misc section.

There are 5 other sections (plus that main area thingy) that, as far as I know, go mostly untouched by douchery. Not only that, THOSE 5 sections are where woman should be going to find information and ask questions.

Things seem to be looking up around here for the most part. Don't go ruining it!!

As a relatively new member myself, I would have to agree. The type of people you want posting on these boards, and the type that are likely to stick around and spend time here (and contribute to this site as a business), probably have sense and self-confidence enough not to be sent running in panicked terror because "oh gawd there's men here and some of them are making dirty jokes!" It's great and important that this subforum has a buffer from aggressive misogynist trolling, but a very extreme approach seems to me close to treating women like delicate flowers, and I don't think that will go over well with or attract the type of ladies you have/want here.

The flavour of this section is very different from the fem help and advice subforums and even from the fem "General Chat", and I think even novice posters can tell what ought to go where and be selective about what to participate in based on their own comfort level.

Finally, this site is a wealth of information and I'm deeply grateful to all who spend so much time and energy to make and keep it so - but if there weren't sections like this that bring the lulz, I know I for one wouldn't spend quite so much time here as I do (post count NOT indicative - lurker alert).

But hey, maybe I just have a thick skin. I hope it's ok that I've been frank - no disrespect is meant here, just my two cents as part of your target audience.
