I have been trying to teach myself the proper way to perform snatches and cleans, but am having a lot of trouble getting it down pat. I am a pretty experienced lifter but just having trouble with these ones, and would rather get them down well before pushing them to avoid injury.
was hoping someone might be able to provide some links to some resources that might help me along on my quest to master these exercises. I did some searching around the forum and not a whole lot turned up.
thanks in advance!

IMHO
get a certified and experienced coach for a while. the moves are extremely difficult to get 100%.
as soon as you start using any serious weight, the smallest blip in your form can leave you with a huge injury.
failing that, record yourself and compare to others.
good luckThere is no substitute for hard work

There is an Olympic lifting forum on this website. One very good place to start.
For my part, I always suggest working on learning the Romanian deadlift first and then moving to snatches and cleans from the hang before trying to do any pulling from the floor. This way you learn the hip extension first, then build the rest of the lifts around it. Often when lifters start by trying to learn the full lifts all at once they shortchange themselves on the hip extension and thus miss out on the most important part of the pull.

Was going to link this too. Highly suggest you use this website for learning Olympic lifts and take what people say on this website with a grain of salt. For Olympic lifting discussion I would go here:
