A lot of people think "Standard" is a brand. Some people think it's a size. I suppose there are two standard sizes, the 2" bore type should say Olympic Standard, but the IOC is a little touchy about that.

Yeah I'm not sure why some Olympic plates say "Standard" makes zero sense.

Although isn't there old Ivankos that say Standard?

I believe the ones linked above are CAPS no?

No. Not actually CAPs. They're pretty much the same, but CAP would be marked around the hub. Pretty decent plates, though. Better than what seems to be available new these days.

I was thinking about this.

Why is it that all the new plates are rubber and these things aren't circulated anymore (or are they?)? Is there just no demand?

And I mean just run of the mill Yorks, Standard...like ideally I want metal plates but there's no way I can dish out the cash for calibrated competition plates.

8 plates, $180. In Port Perry, Ontario (where is that?). Picture shows an Ivanko plate, haven't message owner to confirm if all are Ivankos. For 50c/lb, this is a steal. Seller also has some other decent gear.

just msged the seller, thanks for this one! Been looking to add to my Ivanko set,looks like its at least 1.5-2hr drive for me though haha

ended up being 5 ivankos and 1 york, still 67c/lb though

This guy is practically giving this away. I know it's a machine and we all prefer barbells, but it could still find all kinds of use. High and low cables, pec flyes, leg curls, seated cable pullovers. I have a similar Body Solid, and it gets used. And it has the leg press too!

Pull-up/dip tower for $75. $150 retail...it's an AmStaff but due to the nature of the product, I doubt you'd have any trouble with it failing during use.

You know you can always get rid of the rear crossmember if you're willing to bolt the rack to the floor. It involves drilling holes in the side crossmembers, but I wouldn't think this would hurt it's resale value. Probably would get $300 either way.

That's going to be a fun project. Do you know how I can go about anchoring it? As in, what would be long enough to go through the side crossmembers and through the concrete?

Couple thoughts. If a regular power rack could be bolted with 2" long screws (seems plenty deep) then you'll need screws that are maybe 6" long. I don't think that's uncommon.

Or, you could cut a 3/4" hole with a hole saw in the top of the lower crossmember. Then you could use shorter screws and a washer to reinforce the single layer of steel. The screw head would be concealed inside the tubing and the whole thing covered with a plastic hole plug a similar color to your rack.

Or, using the bolts near the bottom of the rack bend an L-shaped piece of steel and make your own bolt down tabs.
