I am considering buying all of this stuff combined, but am unsure how much I should pay. How much should I pay in total for the following?
1) Adjustable Bench that comes with a preacher curl attachment.
2) A Squat Rack that goes up to five foot two inches tall.
3) Two Olympic bars and a curl bar.
4) Weight: Four 45s, Four 35s, Four 25s, Four 10s, Eight 5s, Two 2.5s, and two fifty pound dumb bells
Thanks for the help

Tree-fiddy!
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I third the 'cheap stuff' opinion. Basically you should pay no more than .50/lb for the bars and weight. And you will probably not be crazy about having mismatched plates down the road (or maybe that is just me). The 'squat rack' will quickly need replaced as you get a little stronger so why not just look a little longer and get something heavier to start and save the hassle of searching for an upgrade and selling the stuff you outgrow?

At most, the "rack" and bench are worth $75 to $100. It looks like two full 255-lb sets with Oly bars. A full set of average Oly plates with bar will go for $125 to !150. The dumbbells will go for $50 to 60. You could get $25 for the curl bar. If it were me, I'd pay $200 and flip everything to get $400 to 500. There's nothing there that I would keep.

I was simply stating that, in my current situation, flipping isn't something I care to do.
I'm fortunate that I can achieve $200 - $300 for my time (a couple of hours) with much less effort involved, and I certainly don't have to deal with flaky people to do it.
I appreciate that several members here, including yourself, have done quite well by flipping gym equipment. I'm not knocking you. I just don't want to participate.

That rack looks decent. I would probably pay about $250 to $300 for everything, as long as the rack is heavy gauge steel. You realize that you will probably not be able to fit the bench inside the rack for bench pressing. The rack is probably the same width as the bench uprights. I guess you could reverse the bench and use it that way. You might want to check it out if it is not a long drive to see it. Another thing to consider is that he may have other things for sale that he might thow in when you get there and would be willing to throw them in an no charge. I have had that happen a few times. People are just happy to clear out the stuff.
Good luck!

The bench is pretty much worthless. The rack might be decent but I would have to see it. Without any bottom connection it might be pretty unstable or need bolting down, this would be a deal killer for me, as would the hole spacing on that ancient thing. Oh and another thing, if he is selling the weights with it I would bargain for the whole set not just the 25's down. Just to get up to the standard 255 or 300 pound set would would be looking at buying 160+ pounds retail and unmatching plates. If I was interested at all (the bench and weight I would flip, probably be rack too) I wouldn't pay more than $200 for the lot. Basically unless you need stuff [I]right now[I] or can get it cheap enough to turn into cash quick I would walk away from this one too.[]---[] Equipment Crew Member No. 11
