So I got this job about a month ago for the summer just to make a little bit of extra money before I leave to college at the end of August. Except the managers are complete garbage, they make me work past my shifts, working 10-11 hour shifts without overtime pay. Managers put me on break an hour after I get in there which, as a result, has me standing taking orders in the drive thru the rest of my shift. I skipped work yesterday to go to the doctors and was diagnosed with some form of hypotension so eating 1 hour after I have breakfast and not eating for the next 7-8 hours isn't really ideal. I have missed many workouts because of this, I come home dehydrated and tired. This job was never a priority. My goal for the summer was to lift heavy, make some gains, and rest well since I worked pretty hard the school year previous to the summer. I just wanted to earn a little bit of side money, which I am already satisfied with. In addition one of the managers tried to cheat me 30 minutes of work yesterday after I worked an 11 hour shift. The place is as low as you can get. One manager makes weed deals with one of the employees on a regular basis. Another one eats various foods from the heat baskets when you're not supposed to, chews gum, and uses buns that have fallen on to the ground. So my question is should I give a letter of resignation because I'm not giving two weeks notice.
cliffs:
-mcdonalds is ****
-managers are scum
- haven't been able to lift
-one manager tried to cheat OP of 30 min
-What should i put in my letter because i'm not giving two weeks notice.

I would never leave a job without giving notice, it's entirely unfair on all the other poor saps working the same job.

It's McDonald's bro, just quit on the spot and write to corporate about why you quit and what you just told us here regarding the shenanigans by the managers and the filthiness of the establishment.

a job that you work at for only one month shouldn't go on a resume anyway, that looks awful on your part regardless of the reason why you left.

Just leave and that's it, if you have good friends working there tell them you'll quit so they don't end up with x more hours.

My first job was at MCD. Got so fat eating Big Macs with quarter pounder meats instead of regulars. Worked there for 3 months. Quit without a notice, easiest quit ever.

Its a phuckin mcdonalds job brah.
If hes waiting 2 weeks to quit, it doesnt matter if he writes them an essay. Its still going to be considered unprofessional and "abandonment of job"
The only reason why you would need to write a letter is if you want to be professional and put in your 2 weeks notice. in case you might considering returning back to that job for future employment.
Conclusion! Its phucking mcdonalds brah! Dont be worried about writing a letter for them. Any other place of business, I would but not for a crappy place like that( ‾ʖ̫‾) anti-crew

You are pathetic.
I do admit that working at McDicks is perhaps one of the worst jobs I've ever held, but that's no excuse to just be a bitch. And at least it teaches you humility.
I work 7-8 hour shifts, I never eat there, and i'm still lifting. Not hard at all.THE SINGULARITY IS NEARING

Then how will you be able to put this on your resume as legitimate experience?
