One explosion, possible other devices, at least 10 code black (dead or soon to be) so far.
(also possible mass shooting, mostly unknown right now)
EDIT: police scanner traffic is all confused as fark, still unsure if it was a bomb or a shooting or how many perpetrators or if they're still at large somewhere in the theater. May just end up being a gang shooting, could be a legitimate terrorist attack, unknown right now
EDIT: several posts on twitter of Aurora residents saying that smoke grenades were tossed into the theater(s), then a shooter (or several) entered
EDIT: police have mostly switched channels away from the public scanner, not as much info now
FINAL EDIT: Still mostly unknown, but at the moment it appears to most likely be a single perpetrator (who is in custody) with a rifle and handgun, who threw smoke grenades into one theater before entering and opening fire. 14 dead, 40ish wounded.

Using a scanner app on my phone to listen to Denver Police, fire, and EMS. I haven't heard anything about an explosion or shooting, just a bunch of *******s complaining about a fight at a party.
Edit: Just checked top 50 stations, Aurora Police and Fire has over 1100 listeners.Don't ask memcop if he is a 16 year old girl.
