Am I a beginner or intermediete?

    Hi

I have been working out for 8 months now but did everything wrong. I didnt eat enough and therefore didnt grow much at all. Should I still be considered a beginner or intermediate?
Did i mess up my noob gains?

    Thanks for the help!

Beginner. And no you didn't. Research, do it right, eat a lot, sleep a lot. And be patient! Gains will come if you do it right!

You answered the question yourself. You didn't eat correctly and I don't know what everything wrong means. I assume it means you didn't have proper form when lifting or you didn't have a proper routine, so yes I would consider you a beginner.

If you can lift around the 310/220/400 mark (squat/bench/deads) - I think that's about right, in pounds - then you might be "intermediate", but even then, it depends...

You anywhere close to those numbers?

Working weight - maybe 5 reps, or thereabouts - in my opinion. Some might prefer to gauge it by 1rm.* Whatever you like!

    * Actual demonstrated single rep, not "theoretical 1rm" - fark dat sh!t. If you haven't lifted 400# (for example), how the hell do you know whether you can.
