I know!! See, you ARE catching up!
My goal for RDL's is 500 for some decent reps. I've kind of stopped doing GHR's for awhile. Honestly, I was getting burned out on them and I have seen any increase in a long time. You never know, RDL's might be my ticket to a truly huge deadlift eventually. LOL
I had a friend come over today and we essentially did nothing but tire flipping, hammer hits and sled pulling for around two hours. I'm pretty much dead tired now.

I've seen some people on these forums make huge gains on their deads over the years and the ones who've made the biggest gains are those who did a lot of RDLs
I used to do them but lately I've left them alone because of my facet joint pain in the lower back ... I've got to get them back into my routine some how
I wash I was catching up

Yeah, I think I'm going to go with the RDL's for awhile and see where that takes me. Honestly, I'm struggling to figure out how to keep increasing my deadlift. All I have to do is do some heavy box squats and my squat increases. Now that my knees are better, I think 650 is definitely within reach, even at 181. We'll see though. I have seen very few raw squats over 600 at 181....but I think I can do it. lol

I'm sure that bumping your squat strength will have some carry-over to your deadlifts but coupling that with the RDLs sounds great to me. Could we see a 1700 total at 181? (650/650/400)?
That close grip strength is just flying ahead at the moment

Hmmmm, I think a 650 squat and maybe a 617 deadlift in the same comp might be possible, but I have no illusions of ever benching over 400 again. A 1600 total is possible I think. Honestly, I struggled with almost every set of CGBP that I did yesterday. Although, yesterday was the first workout where I started pushing the weights up heavy again so maybe that has something to do with it. There were a few sets that I found the groove on and made 3 pretty easy, but the others felt like failure at 3 reps. lol Losing weight never affects my squat or deadlifts, but it kills my bench. It always has. LOL
Tomorrow I'll be pulling 530 to failure. I'm hoping to get 5.
