@vtneddo
How long are your typical lower power and hypertrophy lifts, ballpark figures? Also, do you use a belt at all? I feel like I'd ruin my back (again) after box squats and pushing 1-5 reps with free squats afterwards lol.
Both of mine run about 90 mins, but my volume even on power days is paltry. Hope everything's alright with the recent happenings as well, and that Christmas prep has been good. Still baffled it's a week away...

I'll wear a loose belt every now and again to make sure I'm activating like I'm supposed to but generally no belt unless Deadlifting at all or squatting near 400. Most days last nearly an hour to an hour and a half.
I just feel like I have to do some free squats at the end for ROM (I go way lower than the box)
Everything is hectic here, once we bury Officer Lang this week things will slowly get back to normal. Her four kids are going to have the worse Christmas ever and I hurt for that reason. Anyway Merry Christmas sorry to babble about IRL stuff carry on.

I asked, my apologies -- I just know it can be tough, but can't imagine stepping in any of your shoes. It's going to be a less-than perky Christmas for all, and we still have the ignorance of this Friday to get through. Stay safe, srs.
Alright; got the somber stuff out of the way. Back to picking stuff up and setting it down.

Felt good to get back on this program. It felt good to get back in the gym. Ive had a rough couple of days and needed the release, I took the week off to settle some unfinished things. We had the vent removed yesterday and my grandfather died peacefully while I held his hand rubbed his head. Right before he died he shed a small tear. BE THERE, THEY KNOW YOU ARE THERE!!!!!
Thanks guys for the nice words. It is much appreciated.

Glad you are back! I ran my fastest marathons the year I lost my mom and did not do a training run or marathon without thinking about her. It's great to find a form of exercise to help deal with the stress.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to!
