Wow man, I'm really sorry to hear that ... Don't want to pry into your personal life but is this irreconcilable? Is there no possible way that you guys can change so that the core issues can be mended or do you two not feel for each other the same way anymore?
I ask because, next to marriage, divorce is the biggest life change you'll encounter - and one of the most expensive! If the decision is final and once the emotions have calmed, you should seriously think about how the finances will work, especially with a child. Basically, you DO NOT want to be screwed when it comes time to divide up assets. I recommend getting a divorce lawyer ASAP once you're sure there's no turning back. If there is any significant income inequality between you two - whether she makes a lot more or less - you can be sure she will fight for as much as she can get. This is not about her being greedy, this is about her ensuring she is in the best possible position financially after this. Her family and close friends are telling her the exact same thing, so you need to level the playing field to protect yourself.
Move to the Bay Area and we'll lift together
But seriously, if there's anything you need or just someone to talk to, PM me, or email/FB me.## chillin at home crew

I appreciate the advice Ken, I really do.
She actually makes more than me but it's not by a large difference. I have no idea what's going to happen with the house, 2 cars we have and all that sh!t. I think though she'll split the time between my daughter 50/50 you know?
This has been something evolving for a year plus and finally just hit it's boiling point. We both love each other but are not IN LOVE with each other anymore. My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441

I wish I could double or triple rep you, man. You are a true friend.
Sometimes a separation can make change or at least see things clearer. But as you said, if the love ain't deep enough why struggle. Keep lifting the amazing way you done so far, it's an awesome therapy that kept me going through troubles I had and will have with my relation. Me and Mrs U are having our issues now and then too..

Good job getting some work in despite the situation bro! The gym can be a sanctuary.
Sounds like you guys have pretty much made up your mind. And besides, life is too short not to be in love with the one you're with.
I would just caution that you don't put off thinking about how to share custody of your daughter and the division of assets. She may be saying 50/50 now - and actually mean it! - but when the time comes, she may or her lawyer definitely will make every possible attempt to shrink your "half" of the pie. If you know a lawyer or someone knowledgeable in family law, give them a call.## chillin at home crew

Man I drop off the face of the earth ill for a couple weeks and all hell breaks loose.
I hope everything works out in the end.
Sad that you are unable to reconcile but obviously you both are making what you feel is the best decision for each other and your daughter.
I have seen some close friends and family go through divorce and be better off for it in the end, so as long as you both can co-parent amicably then everything else will fall into place.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Sorry to hear about all the stuff still going on Ant , like Ken said, if you need to vent and blow off steam I'm always around in PMs. My girl and I have been together a long time and we've had some rough patches, including 6months where we literally seperated, didn't talk, I moved 700 miles away, and after that time she came back to me, feeling better, stronger and more in love. So I 100% know what you're going through.
good lifts on Friday though. Don't sweat skipping the rows, sometimes that **** happens.Don't stop hustlin'

Sorry about your luck dude. Hope it all plays out in the end. I know I've danced that line with my wife a couple times. The one thing I've learned is its almost always a communications break down. Usually one or both parties are assuming something that simply isnt true. You really have to lock on communication or everything falls apart.
That being said, protect your interests with your daughter. If things get ugly its always someones last ditch move to go for the throat. No one wants to see that happen so no one expects it. Hey man sorry to hear about your troubles. It doesnt seem like it now but you will most likely emerge a stronger minded person after all this is over. Stay strong.

I really appreciate all the kind words and can't express how much this log has meant to me due to you good bros. Thanks a lot for everything. I think things are going good. Me and Diana (my wife) have been talking and she has moved back in. I'm going to counseling today to work on the issues I need to change as a man and we'll set something up for marriage counseling.
Family is the most important thing to me and i'm not going to lose it without any sort of fight.
I'm about to this the gym today for a killer workout. A lot of footage will be captured since I bought an iPod shuffle yesterday. I'm able to record more while still listening to my music. My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441

Thanks guys. I had my first day of counseling by myself and things went better then expected.
Today this morning was the start of Week 3, day 1 for me with MC. I had to end the new year with a bang and knock out a killer workout, well that definitely went down this morning.
Enough talking and let's get to the workout.
