Checking your weight once a week is plenty to keep track of progress. Measurements are more accurate anyhow.

I actually weigh myself all the time, but I understand whats going on and I do it more out of curiousity and to understand water weight. I can put on 10 pounds on a weekend night drinking bud 55 beer-water. 8 pounds typically gone the next day, 2 pounds the day after.
As far as actually tracking the weight loss, I average the T, W, and TH morning weights and thats my weekly weight.Stern Crew

http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/29/52480 I don't even... WTF? It's funny that pretty much only the light versions of the American Budweiser manage to rank below the regular American Budweiser. I don't think a lot of American realize they have some of the best tasting craft beers in the world. I can understand drinking light beers, but why not get some flavor with it like you would with even a more mainstream beer like Sam Adams Light?

Sam Adam, IMO, is crap...expect for the October Fest batch.
Typically I drink Bud light(cheap 30 pack and give it to party guest plus good on a hot summer day) Guinness(nuff said), Yuengling larger(It's made in Pa and popular through the state), Lord Chesterfield Ale( nice summer ale), any dunkle, porter or stout.
We have a Haufbrau Haus in Pittsburgh and I would always order their dunkle, it's amazing. Penn Brewery makes some good beers as well.OG

Mmm Dunkelweizen is my favorite type of beer.
Franziskaner Dunkel (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/142/924) is my go to beer in the winter time. I even found it in SC when I lived there (but it was $2.60/bottle). Weihenstephaner Dunkel (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/252/808) is the best one by far, if you can find it.
For the summer I like the original Budweiser (the one brewed in the Czech Republic - http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/304/6715). It goes by Budvar in Europe, Czechvar in the US (because of copyright issues with Anheuser-Busch).
The dunkel at Hofbräuhaus is decent, but their food was completely disgusting (I went to the one in Las Vegas, maybe the one in Pittsburgh is better) and didn't resemble anything you'd get at a good restaurant here in Germany. I was pretty disappointed, so I started pounding beers haha. At least the waitress that paddles you was hot.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883

I drink it for the 55 calories, not for the taste...I am in full understanding of how much it sucks. I really like dark beers and pale ales, hence why I am now in the process of losing a chit ton of weight lol. sam adams light has 120 calories. If I drink 10 bud 55s thats 550 calories, 10 sam adams is 1200 calories. guess which one fits in my calorie budget lol.

We have this German place down here called Warner's, can't find their website for you...really good actually... and I had Franziskaner not the dunkle though, but it was still good. Dunkle is by far my favorite style of German beer.
I would say that you had a very bad one in Vegas...probably more show than go. The one is Pittsburgh is always packed and with the amout of Germans in that city, along with Slavs and Italians, it's probably A LOT better than Vegas.OG

I see. Well, if you can tolerate it, more power to you man! I guess I'm a beer snob, if there is such a thing.
Yeah, the regular Franziskaner is good, but I'll always go for the Dunkel. I have much better access to it here in Germany obviously. But I barely ever see American or Mexican beers here (except for nasty-ass Corona), of which I do like a few. Not really missing Bud Light though, haha. I tried drinking it once, hopefully I will never have to taste it again.
Sounds awesome. The one in Vegas just gives people the wrong impression about what German food is all about. I guess it makes sense that it's better in Pittsburgh with more of a German presence in that city.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883

I despise bud, sorry for bud fan boys, and would rather a water beer like Coors light over that. Totally nderstand the 55 however as that's super low cal and at that point just take what you can get. I think one of the most underrated cheap beers in America is yuegling, it's awsome on tap. Agree I think Sam sucks and is overrated but the cherry wheat is pretty good with a steak. Man all this beer talk and I'm a cut, fml.

What's up guys. Sorry I didn't post my Squat day yesterday.
Here was my workout from last night.
8/23/2012
Wave 2, Week 2, Squat 3x3
*Foam rolled and did some lower dynamic stretching for 15 minutes
5/3/1 Squat training max 257lbs
*3 warm up sets @ 40%, 50% & 60% of my training max
Working sets
180x3, 205x3, 230x6
*Now I set myself a goal when it came to the last set. I told myself I wanted to get 6 strong reps. Goal reached. The last rep was a grinder. I stopped on 5 and was just starring at myself in the mirror in front of me. Mentally I told myself you better not rack that fuking barbell. So I squatted that bish!
BBB front squats
115x10, 115x10, 115x10, 115x10, 115x10
*FUARK!!! This was just brutal! Last week I didn't get 10 reps on all sets. It would be like 10, 8, 8, 10 etc. This week I got all 10 reps and was very satisfied with that. It came at the expense of wanting to fuking die hahaha. After my last set I just laid on the floor wishing for death haha.
DB Romanian Deadlifts
55x10, 55x10, 55x10, 55x10, 55x10
*5lb increase from last week
DB lunges
25x10, 25x12, 25x12
Seated and leg press calf raises
So my legs are definitely feeling it today. I'm surprised my hamstrings aren't experiencing DOMS (yet). It's more of my quads that are feeling heavy. Sh!t my chest is still sore from Wednesday.
Hit my macros for yesterday and had 2,620 cals. It'll be good to have 2 rest days. I'm definitely looking forward to the 5/3/1 week starting Sunday. Hope you guys are having a good Friday. My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441
