    8 month bulk, advice pls

    Hi Guys i first started going to the gym in march 2011 weighing about 140 lbs and started bulking about oct 2011. My genetics are pretty average/**** (narrowish shoulders, wide/high hips) but watevs cant do much about that. I currently weigh about 176 lbs, probly about 80 percent of that gain is muscle the rest is fat. I just started taking pics of myself recently and i feel i have put too much fat on. I reckon i started my bulk at about 11-12 % bf(in that pic i was flexing) and now im probly 18% lol.

    But anyway i was either thinking to do a mini cut for 2 weeks to cut a little bit of fat and then clean bulk or should i just clean bulk from now on? I dont want to cut as im not happy with the development on my shoulders and upperchest and have just started a legs/push/pull spilt which i will do for 3 months then consider if i want to cut then.

    If you have any advice at all that would be sweet, cheers.

    My advice: I would cut and then stick to clean bulking from now on. You've definitely put mass on and I'm sure you've gotten stronger, but you put too much fat on in proportion to the muscle.

    yeh I got into the I can eat whatever I want mind set the last few months and have been drinking pretty heavily as well, I got that fat pretty quickly haha, was like wtf. Will cut for a few weeks then do a clean gradual bulk.
