Hey,
I started working out 7 months ago now. I have been taking Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Whey protien Isolate for 5 of these months and Optimum micronized creatine as well for 1 of these months.
I have recently noticed damage to my hair, just above my ears on both sides. Each hair has several white dots (not nits/lice) which are breakages and when put under any pressure the hair just snaps. The barber says he has seen nothing like it and has no idea what could have cause it.
The only huge change I have made to my lifestyle/diet, which I think could cause this is the use of supplements. Can this happen? Is this common? How can I fix/avoid it?
Any insight into this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

honestly, i dont think this has anything to do with your supplement regime. if you think it is dietary, get more efa's.
i would check your shampoo; too much keratin (or any protein.... look for hydrolyzed wheat protein) can deposit on the weaker points of the hair shaft and make it incredibly brittle.
wash your hair with only water for a while, and/or treat it with oil (olive oil will do).
if it helps, wonderful. if not, you got the lice.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Are you aware I have a ritual called 'terminator'. I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy...till we meet again

I had really damaged hair from being in the sun a lot and using harsh shampoos...my barber recommended this and my hair is much healthier now. Its pricy but you use less than standard champ and it smells great.
