What pisses me off more than anything is that most hunters think they are "tough" and "alpha" for killing wild beasts.There is nothing alpha about killing animals from 25 yards away with a gun. Your mentality is everything that is wrong (Oh I am a human and I can do w/e I want, I am so cool I can shoot things, grow the **** up you act like you are still 5 playing with a nerf gun). negged...killing any animal, especially such a majestic and beautiful creature as a Lion, for your own personal enjoyment, is not cool in my book.

The Lion could end your life in a split second but you choose to dominate it with weaponry crafted by men, after centuries of innovation and improvement upon basic stick-and-stones arms, because you are frail and weak and know you simply could not go against it physically but still wish to end its life so you can show your friends how strong and cool you are. You're paying a hell lot of money to kill a species which is dying out - because there are too many stupid and fat people looking for more space to live and make more profit in - for FUN? Oh he did it at a short distance? Now that makes it "alpha", because I'm sure there were no safety measures taken to prevent the natural course of action, which in this case would be the lion raping your dad.

I didn't eat the bobcat, I threw it in the puget sound for the fish or crabs to eat, much like how OP's dad ended up feeding people with his kill.

Point is, we're humans, we hunt things, for sport or to eat. OPs dad didn't kill an elephant and take the tusks like you're all making it out to be.
