    my father will love this, thanks op.

    its amazing to think what else is out there too that we dont even know about yet. some things could exist that we dont even have the means of discovering because our technology is holding us back, even tho we are at the peak of technological advancement in the history of the world. but for example we cant travel fast enough to reach other planets or galaxies. somebody before in a thread also said that its possible that there are black holes and inside those black holes are more galaxies and inside those are even more black holes again...cant begin to imagine what will eventually be found in many years to come. its depressing to even think that none of us will be alive to witness a significant discovery such as finding another life form in another planet, which is possibly in existence right now, just like us.

    the question is not whether extra-terestrial life exists, but rather does it exist now? Two different life forms existing at the same time in the universe is more unlikely, given the age of the universe...if that makes sense?

    Mind = nuked.

    Pick an area that you think is completely dark/blank. Then zoom all the way in on it. Boom, hundreds of stars.

    ****in rad
    He who lets the world, or his own portion of it, choose his plan of life for him, has no need of any other faculty than the ape-like one of imitation. He who chooses his plan for himself, employs all his faculties. He must use observation to see, reasoning and judgment to foresee, activity to gather materials for decision, discrimination to decide, and when he has decided, firmness and self-control to hold to his deliberate decision.

    We could be looking at planets which have civilizations more advanced than us, but we wouldn't even know because what we would be seeing is already hundreds of thousands of years old.

    Was waiting for someone to say this.

    What we see here on Earth is totally different than what exists at the point in time at the location we're observing. Thousands, millions, billions of light years depending on the location. That's what blows my mind even more.

    This is just approx 25million of the Milky Way Galaxy which has hundreds of billions of stars.

    There is estimated hundreds of billions of galaxies in the "known" universe.

    So once again...

    i just google searched 25,000,000/400,000,000,000

    25 000 000 / 400 000 000 000 = 6.25 × 10^-5
