Help me to lose my small layer of belly fat!

Hi, im 138 pounds and 5ft 11" (17 years old). I have a small layer of belly fat covering my abs which I really want to get rid of. I have a good clean diet and try to consume 1700 calories a day. Is this a good amount of calories? I do INSANITY HIIT about 3-4 days a week and P90x upper body 3 days a week.

Insanity and P90x? You gon' be so swolee!

PS. In regards to the diet, you need to write out the macros ie Carbs Fats and Proteins of all the foods and calculate how much you're eating/day. Then go here http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...1703981&page=1 and adjust values accordingly.

PSS. (Shop bought) Protein bars suckkk. Loads of sugar and crap just for some protein. Just buy some whey powder and take a shake for a snack at school or college.

abs are made in the kitchen. PureWheyBrah is right, bulk first to a good weight, relative to your height and start doing heavy compound exercises.
    best of luck

5ft 11" & 138 pounds... Bulk up and gain some muscle before you start thinking about your abs.

Pack on the meat and dairy, don't worry too much about calories right now, just lift heavy and eat a lot.
