    My Journey

    Hey Guys. I started the Kris Gethins 12 Week Daily Trainer this morning.

    Been doing great so far since today is my first day of the program. just got done eating my 2nd meal (lean steak & brown rice), gotta admit, I feel stuffed haha lol. Did 20 minutes of cardio a lil while after I got done eating meal 1 (egg whites, oatmeal). After my cardio, I took 1 Super HD, great flow of energy, keeps me focused.

    So far, so good, going to go to the gym for day 1 at around 6PM tonight.

    Supplements im going to be taking during the next 12 weeks: Super HD, NO3 Black Chrome, C4, Neovar, Lipo-PM.

    NO3 Black Chrome is hands down the best PUMP product I have ever tried. My whole body is jacked while on it.

    C4 is an amazing pre-workout, I have the pineapple and pink lemonade flavors. The pineapple tastes so fricken delicouse, as does the pink lemonade.

    Got a few sample packs of Xtend from Scivation, pretty excited to try them out, its an Intra-Workout drink. I decided to try out the Green Apple Xplosion first, because I have heard it tastes just like a green apple jolly rancher =D

    Here is what I have been thru in my life so everyone who follows this log knows about me. I have Cerebral Paulsy, Bronchial Pulmunary Dysplasia, Touretts, Gilbert Syndrome (high billirubim count) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, I stutter to the point of not speaking. My stuttering has gotten better over the years tho. I am a high functioning autistic. I used to go into petit mal seizures. I have not gone into a seizure in a very long time thank goodness.

    Surgeries I have had include: fixed hole in heart, intestional (section removed) gallbladder removed, tonsil, adnoids removed. I was blind in my left eye growing up. But now I can see with both eyes. 40/20 hearing loss which is now fixed. I had paralyzed swallow muscles and vocal chords. I am doing extremely well now-compensating. Didnt breath when I was born at 26 weeks pre-mature. Was 1lb, 10oz, 11 & a 1/2 in long, put on life support for 4 months, was placed in the nicu my 5th month on full oxygen and 9 meds. Suffered severe brain bleeds. I had to have everything be put inside a blender in order for me to eat it, cause I had a real difficult time swallowing food and drinks.

    The doctors said I would not make it alive, that I would Die cuz i was so sick. And said, that if I did make it thru, that I would be severly handicapped, and be wheelchair bound for life. Well........ the doctors were wrong. I am currently 5 foot 9, 128 pounds, & healthy, living life to the fullest. I used to go to my local gym and lift weights just for fun not to get buff or anything. But when I went into the gym and started lifting the weights, a lot of the guys who were stornger and bigger than me made fun of me cuz i couldnt fit a lot like they could. So I said forget this, I quit. My P90X journey began sometime in May of 2010. My sister was telling me about this super awesome workout program that everyone was talking about called P90X. My sister loves working out. So I said oh thats cool. I bought p90x. Didnt have any weights. Did 45 days of the program, then gave up. Didnt write down any reps or nothing. Got 10 pound weights for my 20th birthday from my sister. So i said, ill make p90x my new years resolution to get into shape in 2011.

    I had a beachbody coach who was named Glenn Glaser. We wrote back & fourth to one another. i said to him ya imma start p90x since i have weights now in january as part of my new years resolution. This was back in the last week in Augest of 2010. He said, David, why dont you start september 1st? That way you will have completed the program by December. So I told him, okay ill do it. And the rest is history pretty much. I have just completed my 5th and final round of the p90x program. Im also a 1 time Insanity Grad.P90X has made me relize that if you put your heart and soul into something, you can acheive what seems impossible. I also have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, so that kinda explains why I love P90X so much. And the changes that I have made, not only mentally, but physically because of this program, are outstanding. I feel much stronger than i have ever felt before. I can do pull ups, sit ups, the whole program.

    Tony horton is such an amazing person, He not only motivates u thru each workout, but he says (Do your best, forget the rest) That is my Moto now. Im doing the best I can with this program and getting stronger and fit and healthier every day. For the people who say, I cant do P90X, its to diffuclt, I have this to say to them: If I, who has been thru Hell and back with everything I have been thru in my life can do P90X, then ANYONE can. do ur best, forget the rest!!! I have made the change in my life, Im NEVER looking back!!!!!!!!!! I have an AMAZING Beachbody Coach named Scottie Hobbs, and im part of this AMAZING group called Staying Fit Family on ********! I began P90X2 on December 26th 2011. I currently use Cellucor products, and highly believe they are the best of the best, I just graduated P90X2 on April 1st 2012. Loved the program. I have sighned up at my local gym and am going to start Kris Gethins 12 week daily video trainer starting this monday, the 9th.

    I will. Its time for me to motivate and inspire others. Day 2 is going extremely well. I have to say though, Kris Gethins eats a LOT of food, holy cow lol. Super HD makes me sweat like a madman while doing my morning and after workout cardio. I go up and down the stairs for morning cardio for 20 minutes, then after I am done working out, I hop on the bike for 20 minutes.

    C4 gives me the energy and focus that I needed for the BRUTAL leg workout yesterday. Going to take NO3 black chome along with C4 tonight before my Chest & Tricep workout at around 8PM tonight after Church, super excited about it. NO3 is the best pump product on the market in my honest opinion, Veins are bulging when I take it.

    Here are my stats from yesterdays workout:

    WU=Warm Up Set
    Fail=Could only get to that number, couldn't do another rep.

    1.Leg Press: WU=(13x90, 14x110, 16x130, 15x140) Fail=(13x160, 20x190, 15x240)
    2.Hamstring Curl: WU=(15x70, 15x70) Fail=(15x80 12x90 15x90)
    3.Lying Hamstring Curl: WU=(15x50, 15x50) Fail=(12x65, 18x65)
    4.Leg Extentions: WU=(20x45, 20x45) Fail=(20x105, 20x120)

    After I was done with the 4th excercise, my legs were Thrashed. So I decided to skip the last excercise (Hack Squat) All in all, im very impressed with my reps and weight for this excercise.

    Side Note: Xtend did help a lot with Recovery, the green apple explotion tastes Amazing. As I type this, I poured the blue rasberry flavo sampler in my shaker cup and its sitting in the fridge.

    Got done eating my 3rd meal at around 12:30. Gonna make myself my 4th meal in a lil bit, Kris is a Beast!

    Will post my stats for tonight workout sometime tmw. So far im loving Cellucor's products a lot, and the program I have started.

    Holy crap, am I sore. Had a Brutal Back & Biceps workout friday night, and a crazy shoulders calves & abs workout last night. I have my final workout for week 1 of the program in about an hour. Just watched the video, and good grief, im pretty sure im going to be unable to walk after tonight for a few days.

    Been eating xtremely clean all week. Didnt get my morning cardio in this morning, but I will get it done tonight after my leg workout.

    Sup everyone. I weighed myself this morning and I currently weight 132lbs. Thats 4lbs gained C4 and NO3 blaco chrome helped a lot with my crazy leg workout yesterday. I start Week 2 today of Kris Gethin 12 week trainer, so far im Loving the program and Cellucor Products.

    I woke up with my chest sore as heck from mondays workout session lol. I have Shoulders later tonight, Im gonna attempt to do my best while my Chest is throbing. C4 is seriously on another level in terms of pre-workout. Not only does it give me a great amount of clean energy, no jitters, but it also tastes really great as well. I told myself after my 22nd birthday that it was time to make a change with my eating habits,

    I want to transform my body so badly, I want people to go WOW when im done with this 12 week program. I truly believe that with the help of Cellucor Products, Clean Eating Habits abnd doing my absolute BEST with each and every workout that i do, I will achieve mindblowing results.

    I dont let the difficultys that I have to face everyday bring me down, My goal is to be the Best that I can be, and not compare myself to others. I had one of the best Chest & Tricep workouts of my life 2 days ago, I believe it was due to the C4, NO3 Black Chrome, and my strict eating habits during this program.

    I forgot to take day 1 pics, so the pics that I will be uploading will be as of 2 days ago, so im going to make week 2 pics my start pics.

    Had a brutal Shoulder Calf & Ab workout last night. My shoulders seem to be my weakest body part. Tonight I have Back + Biceps. Gonna do my morning cardio in a minute, then head off to the store to stock up on more sweet potatoes, brocoli, & brown rice. I cant wait to see my results after week 12 of this amazing program.

    Black_Label, Whats up man? Thank for joining in on the fun. Had a horrible day on friday guys, was going to do back + biceps on friday, but switched it to yesterday, went pretty good. Im suppost to do Legs for day 14 for the end of week 2 today but I have been feeling real tired all day, so im going to skip it, and keep moving forward. Tmw is Chest + Tricps for the start of week 3, gonna hit it hard.

    I know I said I would upload pics a few days ago, but I keep forgetting lol. They Will be uploaded onto my Bodyspace before I go to bed tonight, I Promise My diet has been very clean other than my favorite snack (Oreos & Cheese Its), I dont go overboard with them though. I eat 95% clean everyday, 5% cheat, seems to be working just fine. Love doing Cardio every morning & after my workout in the evenings.

    I could update my lifting stats if anyone wants me to do that, let me know and I will be more than happy to post them.

    Good Afternoon everyone. I weighed myself this mornnig and I now weigh 134lbs. Thats 2 more lbs than last week. Got my 1st cardio session done a lil while ago after breakfast which was egg whites and oatmeal. About to make some steak and brown rice for my 2nd meal. For those who get discouraged by eating junk on the weekends, brush it off, and start fresh today. Today is a new week, a week to start fresh, whats in the past, is the past, Move forward.

    Im not going to lie, I ate a LOT of food last night at my sisters house, more than I should have, but it was excellent. Im not going to let last nights cheat food bring me down, woke up this morning, and said, today is a new day/week to start fresh, so thats exactly what im going to do. I have chest & triceps, hoping to up my weight from last week and hit the reps that I need to hit.

    Good news guys. Was able to up my weight and reps on the excercises on yesterdays workout. Been very busy today, but am still planning on going to the gym to do a Back + Bicep Workout after I eat dinner, since I missed last sundays Leg workout, im going to blast those tonight as well, it looks like a short leg workout which shouldnt take me very long to do.

    Special shout out to Derek from the Scivation for sending me a bottle of Green Apple Explosion Xtend to add to this log, thanks a bunch brother. Gonna test it out tonight during my 2 workouts, I had a few sample packets of Xtend a few weeks ago, and recovered pretty fast while sipping on them during my workout, so lets see what an entire bottle will do for me LOVED the green apple flavor, tastes almost exactly like green apple jolly rancher, which happenes to be my favorite jolly rancher flavor. Stay tuned everyone. Im as motivated and determined as ever!

    Back & Biceps was very diffuclt, Legs went very well, pushed around a lot of weight. After I was done with Back, tried do do biceps, but got discouraged, so I left the gym. Yesterday and today was an Off day, did some chores around the house and ate like a horse yet again. Did my cardio morning & night everyday so far, got done eating fish brown rice & vegetables a lil while ago, letting my food settle, and then going on a bike ride. I feel like my cardio is getting better. Gonna try to go hard for tmw's shoulder, calf, & ab workout tmw. My Shoulders are one of my weakest body parts along with my Biceps.

    Started Week 4 today guys. Woke up and weighed myself, hoping to gain a few more lbs than last week. I stepped on the scale, and am at the same weight I was at last week which is 134lbs. Not going to get discouraged though, gotta keep a positive mindset. Today is suppost to be a rest day, but I have decided to do Back & Biceps tonight instead of tmw, and make tmw a rest day instead.

    Other than a bean burrito from taco bell, been eating clean. I personaly feel like the kinds of foods that you put in your body will affect your results big time. You cant just eat whatever and expect to get results. You have to train your butt off, and eat clean.

    Going to make myself fish, chicken, sweet potatos, brown rice, and brocoli for my last meal for the day in a little bit, then wait a while, take my supplements, then head off to the gym to crush back & biceps. Thinking about upping the cardio from 20 minutes 2x a day to either 25 or 30 minutes 2x a day after this week for the start of week 5, any thoughts on this?

    Hey everyone. Just got home from the gym. Did an insane Drop-Set style Shoulder workout tonight, gotta say, My shoulders are Shot big time. Those Drop-Sets are Killer. Its a love/hate relationship with those haha lol. I have a Chest workout tmw, and have decided to skip this leg day which is suppost to be on saturday, I will be going to the Zoo all day, so I will be doing a lot of walking around so that will be my leg day on Saturday. Almost done with Month 1 of the program, seeing really great results.

    Thanks again Cellucor for making such amazing products, Customer Sevice is top notch, answering any questions I have and always willing to lend a helping hand for everything. I truly feel like Cellucor is one of the best Companys. There Products are extremely well done. Im hoping I have gained weight, I shall see on monday for the start of Week 5 and the start of Month 2. Im off to bed, waking up early, eating Egg Whites & oatmeal, then going on a 20 minute Jog.

    Black_Label, sounds like a great way to workout lol. I have decided to go to the gym and thrash Legs since im not sore from yesterdays fun day at the zoo. Ate horrible yesterday and the day before, but im not going to let that get in my way of my transformation. Tmw is a new week to start fresh, whats in the past is in the past, im moving forward.

    Bought some more food for the next 2 weeks, and have decided to cook all my meals for tmw tonight after i get back from the gym, so I stay on track. I WILL be posting my stats tonight after I get back from the gym. Stay tuned guys.

    Good Morning everyone. Its a new week so that means if you fell short on the weekend with eating or working out, dont feel bad, its a new week to start fresh. Thats excatly what I did, woke up a while ago, ate oatmeal and egg whites, now im going to go on a 25 minute bike ride to start off my day. Decided to up my cardio for the start of month 2 to 25 minutes instead of 20. need to really hit this month even harder than the 1st. Triceps, Calves & Abs will get crushed at 630 tonight.

    Calf's & Triceps were so pumped due to NO3 Black Chrome, I could barely lift my arms and after I was done with Standing Calf Raises, I could barely walk due to my Calfes being so Pumped and Tight! It was a pump I have never felt before, I had to sit down for a lil bit after I was done due to the pump. It was an amazing feeling, but it hurt like Hell lol. Legs have felt like Lead Pipes all day, Due to my legs being thrased and not fully healed up from yesterdays Brutal Leg workout, that didnt help with Calfes lol. NO3 Black Chrome is hands down the most amazing Pump Product on the market in my honest opinion and will be a staple in my supplement stack from this day forward, along with C4 Xtreme & Scivation Xtend helps a lot with recovery.

    Bought a bottle of L-Glutamine yesterday to help with recovery as well.

    Time to check in everyone. Had a rest day yesterday and today, but I still did my 25 minutes of cardio yesterday morning and night, and this morning, and am going to do my cardio after I get finished with Choir tonight. Im eating my 5th meal as I type this which is Grilled Chicken & Brocoli. Starting this week, I cut out Carbs from my last 2 meals and just added a few more Vegetables, since Kris told everyone to do this on his Video.

    I do sure miss the gym, being on rest days for 2 days in a row sucks, but its for a good reason. Tmw is Shoulders, which will go down at around 630ish tmw night. Plan to up my weight for tmw. Everything is going extremely good, eating clean is getting easier to do since I have been following the diet plan perfectly. Recieved CLK in the mail yestrday, plan on taking that for weeks 9-12 of the program.

    Chest, Shoulders, Back, Triceps, & Legs look a lot bigger than when I started. I made a promise when I turned 22yrs old that it was time for a change in my eating habits, and thats exactly what im doing. Im not letting anything get in my way of my dreams. Im hoping to keep gaining weight, my goal weight is 150, currently weigh 137.

    Ill update tmw night before bed letting you all know what my stats were for Shoulders.

    Hey guys. Sorry I havent updated the log in a few days. Last friday, I suffered a Shoulder Injury. Was doing Incline Dumbell Presses last friday for Chest & Triceps day, my goal rep range was 8-10, wanted to do 8. So I was doing really great, got to rep number 7, then tried to push the weight up one last time, and lost balance and fell on the floor. The weights hit my stomach and I fell over. Put Ice on the shoulder for days. Shoulder seems to be 100% healed as of this morning, am able to move it all around, without it hurting. I will be returning to the gym this friday, going to take it easy though. I have Chest & Triuceps Friday, Legs Saturday, & Biceps & Back on Sunday to finish up Week 5. Week 6 begins this Monday.

    Eating has been 100% clean so far this week, going to the movies to see The Expandables 2 Friday night, going to treat myself to some popcorn and pizza, but after that, saturday and sunday will be 100% clean.
    Still gettting my Cardio in morning and night as well. Hope everyone is doing good.

    Feeling really confident about my results so far from this program, and cant wait to see my results after Week 12. Cellucor is one of my top rated supplement companies, have nothing but great things to say about them, would definitly reccomend them to anyone.

    Sorry for not posting for a few days guys. Everything is going pretty good. Ate pretty bad saturday and sunday. Was going to start week 6 today, but last friday thru sunday, my brother in law dave told me to just do Chest & Triceps, Legs, & Back & Biceps, so I could begin week 7 today, since I basicly dwould have done the same excercises last friday thru sunday for the end of week 5. So thats exactly what I did, I completed week 6. Today was the start of week 7 of 12

    Training and eating has been going very well. Looking a lot bigger in my shoulders, chest, &triceps. Ate all my meals for today 100% clean eating. Usualy by the time the weekend hits, I end up caving in and eating junk, but for the past few weekends other than last friday, I have been eating very clean. I know how important Nutrition is to your results, im NOT going to let poor nutrition get in the way of my Trasformation.

    Tmw is Back & Biceps, which im actually quite excited about. One of the moves that I have to do tmw is Pull-Ups, I gotta say im quite good at Pull-Ups, but seeing as I have not done them in quite a while (Since doing p90x, a few months ago), im not sure how well I will do on then, but as always, I will do my very best, even if I have to take additional breaks.

    Here are my Leg stats for today workout:

    Legs:
    Leg Extentions [2 Warm Up 8-10, 3 Sets of 20 one & a half reps)
    70x11, 85x12, 145x20, 150x20, 155x20

    Those one & a half reps were KILLER! Legs were screaming & on Fire the entire time. Even had to take a few mini set breaks to hit the Rep Range. What a great move.

    After this excercise, I took a 3-4 minute break. Legs were tight. Had to stretch them out before going to the next excercise.

    Partial Leg Extentions [2 Sets of 50, Decreasing Weight Every 10 Reps]
    Before I post my stats, this move was DIFFICULT. I would have never thought that doing partial reps would be so difficult, but man, I was wrong. Ill definitly be using this training style for some moves when I train my clients when I become a Personal Trainer. cuz man, it WORKS!
    160x10, 145x10, 130x10, 115x10, 100x10
    175x10, 160x10, 145x10, 130x10, 115x10

    Leg Press [2 Sets of 60 reps, adjusting feet every 20 reps]
    160x60, 185x60. I was able to push past the pain and upped my weight on both by 15lbs on each set. Grunted like a big Gorrila, Legs were shaking, felt like my legs were gonna explode from the pump and the pain haha lol.

    Dumbell Lunges [1 Warm Up 8-10 (No Weights), 2 Fail (With Weight)
    30x15 40x10

    Thank goodness that was the last excercise for todays workout. I was only able to do about 15-20 minutes, instead of 25 minutes of cardio after the workout. My legs were Toast. Pushed as hard as I possibly could for Legs.

    Week 8 starts on Monday, which means that it will be the last week that I will be using C4, Super HD, & NO3 Black Chrome, in order to take a break from them as advised from the bottles for weeks 9 thru 12 of the program, I will be using Cellucors CLK for weeks 9 thru 12, dosing at 3 pills Mondays Thru Fridays & be giving my thoughts on this product as well. I will also be writing my personal thoughts/reviews on each product after this log is done with, on the BodyBuilding.com's Review section og the message boards, so be on the lookout for those reviews once the log is done. Lets just say, I was more than impressed with Cellucor's Products

    Side Note: I am going to be on a new Creatine called EFX Kre-Alkalyn EFX, which is suppost to be better than regular creatine mono, starting tmw. I am all out of Neovar Creatine, and wanted to try out something different. Ill let you all know my thoughts on the new creatine after I have used it for about a week.

    Whats up everyone? Here is my workout schedule for Week 8 which starts tomorrow:
    Tuesday is Shoulders, Calfes, & Abs, Wednesday is Legs, Thursday is Chest & Back, & Friday is Biceps & Triceps. Saturday & Sunday is a rest day. This Saturday I will be going on a mission trip.

    Hoping to be able to up my weight this week on a lot of the moves for the workouts. My eating this weekend was so-so. not horrible, but not great either. I planned ahead and made all of my meals for tmw a lil while ago, there sitting in the fridge. Remember guys, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
    Have decided to cut carbs for the last 3 meals of the day for weeks 9-12. Im going to add extra veggies in place of the carbs. Im keeping my cardio to 25 minutes morning & post workout. I dont feel the need to up it even more.

    I did Ab Ripper X from P90X before my cardio session tonight. It is an awesome Ab workout. Definitly felt the burn big time
