One of the things I like best about the show is getting to the bottom of why the weight was gained in the first place. I really do think there's usually something emotional behind it, or something that needs to come out and healed.

POWER BODYBUILDING
WEEK 1, DAY 1: CHEST
INCLINE BB BENCH PRESS
I HAVEN'T DONE THESE IN AWHILE, FELT GOOD. I HAD THE BENCH AT ABOUT A 30-35 DEGREE INCLINE
140 x 10
210 x 4, 4, 4
220 x 4, 4, 4
230 x 4
VOLUME = 6080
DB BENCH
I HAVEN'T DONE THESE IN AWHILE, FELT GOOD. I ALSO HAD MY LEGS UP SO JUST MY BACK WAS ON THE BENCH, SAVE FOR THE LAST SET
80 x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10
VOLUME = 4000
PEC DEC FLY
FOR THESE I HAD THE SEAT ALL THE WAY UP SO I WAS ALMOST STANDING. WHEN I BROUGHT THE HANDLES IN FRONT OF MY I TURNED THEM SO THAT MY PINKIES WERE TOUCHING AND MY THUMBS WERE OUT. THIS REALLY HIT MY LOWER PECS WHICH ARE REALLY LACKING RIGHT NOW
70 x 15
80 x 15
90 x 15
VOLUME = 3600
WORKOUT THOUGHTS
>> Quick workout today, I'm waiting on a cell phone and it's coming FedEx (which I really don't like) and I have to sign for it. I needed to be back before wifey left for work. Today was actually a pretty easy day and took 40mins. Next Monday I hope start with what I ended with for my weights in each exercise: so 230, 80, 90Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175642411

Thanks guys
This is a solid program, straight and to the point indeed - just the way I like it.
FYI for the diet "Mr. O" recommends adding 500 above maintenance for the first 4 weeks, then maintenance for the second 4 weeks, and then 500 below for the third 4 weeks ... I think I'm going from memory on that but I'll be doing mostly maintenance levelsJournal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175642411

That was a good sesh for 40 minutes ---- strong inclines for 8 sets and nice volume on the DB benching
You should be well able to bump the weights on the inclines and the DB benching next time so you won't be waiting too long to feel that pump again!"Better to wear out than rust out!"
Squat 165kg/363lbs
Deadlift 190kg/418lbs

Yeah that's a pretty awesome photo
It does feel weird, but helps get other things done quicker. Plus I can do more cardio, which I need, and won't feel rushed doing it
And don't be jelly, little girl
I think with a little longer rest (> 30 secs - 1min) I can do a little more weight on everything. I just ordered some more Cherry Extract to help with the tendon and ligament soreness too
Yeah buddy! Pause Reps definitely help. I'll be in the cage too so I've got the "oh sh!t" bars in place in case I need to bailJournal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175642411
