Good point although he could still be on the juice. I find it hard to believe a bodybuilder who spent such a large amount of time in Thailand stayed completely away from gear the whole time. He is also REALLY big regardless

nah, natural is the best path to take. The only downside is that you have to rely completely on genetics and hardwork. Branch warren is another who meets this criteria. It's not that I don't respect athletes who take the juice but I just feel like if some can do it natural, then so can everyone else...

I'm pretty sure that first pic was taken leading up to the 01 ASC. In 00, Ronnie was huge whereas in 01 he was smaller and more conditioned. Also, Dennis James was a relative unknown in 00 b/c he just got his pro card

DJ came in to the IFBB at a time where the force of Ronnie was very dominant. Although score cards from a few Olympias may deter this dominance, Ronnie just had that extra little "umph" on stage that DJ barely missed. An impressive physique none-the-less and an incredibly nice dude. Nice post OP
